Have Thine Own Way, Lord

  1. Have Thine Own Way, Lord

  2. Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
  3. Thou art the Potter, I am the clay.
Mold me and make me after Thy will,
While I am waiting, yielded and still.
  4. Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Search me and try me, Master, today!
Whiter than snow, Lord, wash me just now,
As in Thy presence humbly I bow.
  5. Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Wounded and weary, help me, I pray!
Power, all power, surely is Thine!
Touch me and heal me, Savior divine.
  6. Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Hold o’er my being absolute sway!
Fill with Thy Spirit till all shall see
Christ only, always, living in me.
  7. Adelaide A. Pollard 1862-1934
  8. Thank you Father for your children who have blessed us in these latter days. What a heritage we have in you Father. Soon we will be in your presence. Come Lord Jesus, come! We want your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

The 3rd verse is not sung, but is so precious!
