Will God Present You Blameless Anyway, Regardless Of What You Do? - Anastasios Kioulachoglou

Download for free the PDF version of the study, optimized for your e-book reader / table / desktop / smartphone PDF version
This is part of the book: "The Warnings of the New Testament".

Misusing Jude 1:24-25: "God will present me blameless anyway, regardless of what I do."

Another one of the passages used to support the same view is also Jude 1:24. There we read:
Jude 1:24-25
"Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen."
So people basically say: "you see, God is able to keep me from stumbling and to present me blameless". Thus, they conclude, "it does not really matter what I do. God will present me blameless anyway". But this is clearly a misinterpretation of the passage. And to understand this better, again we have to take the context into account. So let’s read it:
Jude 1:20-25
"But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. And have mercy on those who doubt; save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh. Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen."
"Keep yourselves in the love of God" Jude says. If his understanding was that we will be kept anyway by God, regardless of what we practice, why does he tell us to keep ourselves in the love of God? If there is no possibility to NOT keep ourselves in His love, to not continue in His kindness, then there would be no point for the instruction. In a similar tone Peter said:
2 Peter 3:17
"Therefore, beloved, knowing beforehand, beware lest being led away with the error of the lawless, you fall from your own steadfastness."
Is there a possibility that a "beloved", a true believer, be led away and fall from being steadfast for the Lord? Yes there is. That is why we should beware. Who is to beware, be alerted? Who is to keep himself in the love of God? Will God do this for us or we do this? It is clear that we do this. Will God help us in this? Of course! He will help us to be kept, if we really want to be kept. How are we then to understand Jude 1:24? We are not to understand it as God coercing people not to fall away but as God helping people who want to keep themselves in the love of God to actually do it. If we want to be kept in the love of God, He will help us to do so and we will for sure succeed. But if somebody does not want to continue with Him any longer, God will not force him to continue.

Hands Were Lifted up to the Throne of the LORD

Hands Were Lifted up to the Throne of the LORD

One of the clearest proofs that prayer to God is vital and the deciding factor is found in Exodus 17!prayer The setting is not long after Israel was delivered from over 400 years of cruel and bitter slavery in Egypt. God powerfully delivered all of Israel out of their slavery and displayed himself as a miraculous God greater than the false gods of Egypt. After God tested them with no water, then bitter (undrinkable) water, as they wandered in the desert, to then drink miraculous water, Israel was attacked without provocation! Imagine that! (Such is typical in this life.) This was their first LIFE OR DEATH battle. That was serious stuff. They had NO military training at all for hundreds of years, but now they would have to kill or be killed. Read this carefully:
The Amalekites came and attacked the Israelites at Rephidim. (Exo 17:8)
Moses said to Joshua, “Choose some of our men and go out to fight the Amalekites. Tomorrow I will stand on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hands.” (Exo 17:9)
So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill. (Exo 17:10)

The Deciding Factor

As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. (Exo 17:11)
When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up–one on one side, one on the other–so that his hands remained steady till sunset. (Exo 17:12)
So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword. (Exo 17:13)
Then the LORD said to Moses, “Write this on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.” (Exo 17:14)
Moses built an altar and called it The LORD is my Banner.  (Exo 17:15)
He said, “For hands were lifted up to the throne of the LORD. The LORD will be at war against the Amalekites from generation to generation.” (Exo 17:16)

Observations

  •  Upheld hands in prayer is NOT of Pentecostal origin! It came from the Jews and was also a way for Christians to pray in New Testament times (1 Tim. 2:8). [Calvinistic heretic, John MacArthur, unscripturally opposes upheld hands in prayer!]
  • Joshua would have SURELY LOST if Moses’ hands (a type of prayer to God) were not extended! It was an invisible, NOT visible, battle which manifested in the physical on the battlefield with Joshua overcoming the Amelekites – a must win battle.
  • Jesus was sinless (Heb. 4:15; 2 Cor 5:21; 1 Pet 2:22; 1 John 3:5), had the Holy Spirit without limit (Jn. 3:34) and heard the Father’s voice perfectly (Jn. 14:24; 17:8), yet he PRAYED OFTEN:
But Jesus OFTEN withdrew to lonely places and prayed. (Luke 5:16)
Indirectly, that shows how important prayer was even for the Lord Jesus! IF Jesus needed to pray often, we need to pray much more than often! We are in a spiritual and invisible battle. PRAYER is vital and foundational. Pray, pray and pray more – much more. Pray TO God, not Mary, the saints or angels. Pray like the Bible shows. The more heart-felt prayer the better and don’t give up praying (Lk. 18:1). We are also told to come boldly to the throne of grace so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need (Heb. 4:16).

Objections To The Deity of Christ Answered

  • Prayer was made TO God, not a saint like Abraham, or anyone else! We are to pray only TO God, as instructed here or TO the Lord Jesus (Jn. 14:14; Acts 7:59). To pray to anyone other than God is a form of idolatry and forbidden. God is almighty. He is a very capable refuge, deliverer, fortress, etc. Pray to him as he wants you to. Pray for your own needs and the needs of others.
  • When Moses’ hands grew tired at one point and came down (a type of giving up), Joshua started to lose. Don’t give up praying. The devil wants you to give up. God wants you to keep asking, seeking and knocking (Mt. 7:7).

False Hope Makes The Heart Sick, But A Longing Fulfilled Is a Tree of Life.

False Hope

false hopeEveryone needs hope. The Bible says, Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. (Prov 13:12). We need hope to continue on. Without hope we would give up, but what about the bearer of false hope? How disastrous is that? Could such a person be dangerous? The Bible answers these questions with stark clarity! Back in the days of wicked King Ahab, variousfalse prophets were predicting success in battle for him in the name of the LORD:
Now Zedekiah son of Kenaanah had made iron horns, and he declared, “This is what the LORD says: With these you will gore the Arameans until they are destroyed.” All the other prophets were prophesying the same thing. “Attack Ramoth Gilead and be victorious,” they said, “for the LORD will give it into the king’s hand.” (2 Chr 18:10,11)
Because Ahab was lured into battle with hope of defeating his enemies, he died! Ahab believed false prophets, who filled him with false hope, which led to his DEATH! That shows the bearer of false hope can be dangerous, especially when speaking in the name of the LORD. The Bible calls such people false prophets and they are likened unto ravenous wolves in sheep’s clothing (Mt. 7:15)!
Truth is what people need most. Often it is not the best news and sometimes it is very discouraging, but always vital. Remember also that the devil destroys with lies. As a false hope can be deadly, truth can lead to or preserve life, especially when it is based on Bible truth. So the ultimate issue is NOT to be encouraging or the instiller of hope for the discouraged, but to report the truth (the facts). If hope isn’t based on truth it is false hope, which is potentially dangerous.
Finally, the worst type of false hope is connected with religion. Examples of false hope in doctrinal form are Purgatory, once saved always saveduniversalism and reincarnation. Those four religious and dangerous myths will take down multitudes in a very disturbing way. Hence, make sure you really do believe the Biblical message. Your eternal destiny depends upon it. God bless you.

Can A Backslider Get Saved Again?

Twice Lost Always Lost Errors

Can A Backslider Get Saved Again

twice lost always lostThe following email came in concerning those who correctly teach a Christian can lose his salvation and rightly reject eternal security, but also teach backsliders can never get their salvation back again! Perhaps some have never thought about the adverse ramifications of the twice lost always lost teaching. Here is the actual email:

Evangelical Outreach, perhaps you could provide some Biblical commentary online regarding the topic of twice lost always lost mentioned on page 414 in your book, The Believer's Conditional Security. I currently attend a __________ Church and the doctrine of this local church (and most ot the churches of this denomination) is that a Christian can lose his salvation, but once it is lost, there is no hope of heaven. In theological terms, they do not believe in or teach multiple (or repeated) regeneration. The primary Biblical support for this doctrine is Hebrews 6:4-6. On page 414 of your book, you cited several passages to refute this doctrine, the most compelling being the passage in Luke 15 on the prodigal son. The Greek in verses 24 and 32 clearly state that the prodigal was dead and is alive again implying that he was previously spiritually alive. You also cited Romans 11:19-23 in your book, but most commentaries that I have read (particularly the modern ones with a dispensational bent) indicate that this reference is to the nation of Israel. Thank you for your time and your online ministry.

What Problem Surfaces With King David For Those With Believe Twice Lost Forever Lost

EO Response (In Part)

[Bible Answers] Greetings in Jesus’ name. There are really three passages that teach a backslider can return to salvation: Luke 15:24,32; Rom. 11:19-23 and James 5:19,20. Regarding the one in James, please read this article Salvation Observations From James 5:19,20. It is true that Rom. 11:19-23 refers to Israel, but it also refers to NT Christians. Notice Rom. 11:21, written to the saints in Rome (Romans 1:7) and says he will not spare you either:

For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

Problem #1 With
Twice Lost Always Lost

A problem arises that many who embrace twice lost always lost have never thought about and that involves King David when in adultery and murder. If it really is “twice lost always lost,” then did David lose his salvation through such vile wickedness? They would have to say NO, since David is now in heavenHence, they are then indirectly saying one can commit such evil (as he did) and remain saved, which is license for immorality. The truth is: King David lost his salvation by those sins (Ezek. 18:24; 33:18; Rom. 8:13; James 5:19,20; etc.) and later got it back.

Heb. 6:4-6 is ONLY referring to people who committed eternal sin (not adultery, murder, drunkenness, etc.) so they could return to the synagogues. Hence, the sin of those referred to in Heb. 6:4-6 was not forgivable (as all other sins are), and therefore, they couldn't be renewed again by repentance (Heb. 6:6) as others can. (By the way, we know, among other ways, Heb. 6:4-6 is referring to people who were saved at one time because it alludes to them repenting in the past.)

Problem #2 With
Twice Lost Always Lost

This brings up another issue, namely, for those who backslide, like the prodigal, and sincerely desire to return to God, but think they have been away from God too long or sinned too much. Such repentant people are very distraught and tortured in their minds because they don't know the truth that they can indeed come back to salvation again and once more get off the road to hell. They can be renewed again by repentance. However, the twice lost always lost teaching would horrendously deny this fact. Please consult our books and this other article for more information. We Are Either Righteous or Unrighteous.

Righteous or Unrighteous – Which?

Simply stated, you are either righteous or unrighteous in God’s sight. You are either godly and pure hearted with eternal life or ungodly with an impure heart and without eternal life. All through the bible we read of righteous people by name. Furthermore, there are many promises and warnings given to righteous people. The same can be said of the unrighteous. Then we come to a lone but magnified verse, found in the so-called Romans Road To Salvation plan which has shaped people’s theology. It seems to say the exact opposite!king david sinned false teachersThat verse has been heard so many times by misinformed people, who have read very little of the Bible, that they actually think it even applies to Christians! That verse is Rom. 3:10:

This Is Why The Roman’s Road Salvation Plan Is Flawed
As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one.”
The view that Christians are not righteous beautifully fits the apostate theology which also smears Paul as the worst of sinners, that is, eternal security. So we now have multitudes of professing Christians believing that they themselves are NOT righteous in one breath, then professing Christ is their righteousnessin another breath, but see no contradiction! It is a sad day, with glaring contradictions, but as long as it presents salvation security in sin, then it must be okay to them. People love it and will support the wolves teaching such poison to the damnation of SOULS.

The Context

The context of Romans 3:10 explicitly shows much more than most have been taught!
As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one. Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit. The poison of vipers is on their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not know. There is no fear of God before their eyes.” (Rom 3:10-18)
The subjects, who all are not righteous:
  • are without spiritual understanding
  • don’t seek God
  • have turned away
  • became worthless
  • there is none who do good
  • their throats are open graves
  • their tongues practice deceit
  • their words are spiritual poison
  • they are full of cursing and bitterness
  • they are swift to shed blood
  • ruin and misery mark their way
  • the way of peace they do not know
  • there is no fear of God in them

God Sees The Wicked This Way

That is not the description of a Christian, one who follows Jesus (Jn. 10:27) and puts God’s word into practice (Lk. 8:21). Such a true Christian is righteous:
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right isrighteous, just as he is righteous. He who does what is sinful is of the devil… (1 John 3:7,8)
There we see the two types of people being either righteous or of the devil. The basic truths of 1 John 3:7,8 need to be pondered until it becomes unshakable in your theology. If you are a Christian, you are righteous. If you are of the majority, you are unrighteous (and of the devil). ONLY the righteous will go to eternal life, while the unrighteous will not inherit God’s kingdom:
Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life. (Mat 25:46)

Righteous David Turned To Evil

But is it once righteous, always righteous? NEVER! Notice what happens when a righteous person backslides, as King David did:
If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, he will die for it. (Ezek 33:18)
If there were no righteous people, how could a warning like this be found in the bible? It would be irrelevant, but it is very appropriate and desperately needs to be known!Scripture pointedly warns the righteous that a DEATH is awaiting them, if they turn to evil. QUESTION: How did King David “die” when he turned to evil(Ezek. 33:18)? He died, because he turned to evil, but how? It wasn’t physical death, because he continued to live. It was spiritual death, the same thing that happened to Adam and Eve, as God warned in Gen. 2:16,17 and which the devil boldly denied in Gen. 3:4. That is the exact model and example laid before us with the ETERNAL SECURITY TEACHERS and all who deny that about David. They act just like their father, the devil and boldly deny just like he did, that there is spiritual death for the righteous who turn to evil; but as with Adam and Eve that didn’t stop spiritual death from occurring. They still died, as David did, when he turned to evil. That righteous man became spiritually DEAD and LOST, like the prodigal when he backslid (Lk. 15:24).

More Details About King David’s Sin

KNOW THIS: A righteous man can become unrighteous again. A saved man can become lost again. A spiritually alive man can become spiritually dead again. To deny these truths won’t change anything. Not a single thing. They remain fact regardless who likes it or not. To be warned about that is to be guarded. To be deceived about that is to be easy prey, thus reflecting the DANGER of false teachers!

"Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more" - Anastasios Kioulachoglou

"Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more" (John 8:7-11)

Many have created in their minds - with the help of religion - the image of an angry God, a God that is ready to throw fire from heaven and burn the sinners, condemning them for their sins. Similarly others, if something bad happens in the world, in their lives or in the life of somebody they know, attribute this to God with such words as: “the judgment of God fell on him”, “he did something bad and God punishes him”, “this evil is the punishment of God for their sins”. In other words they more or less attribute to God the evil that is happening in this world with the justification that this allegedly is the judgment, the punishment of God for the sin that is in the world. Is however this view right? Τhe answer is NO! I believe that in the age of grace in which we live, God does not condemn the sinners. Be careful, I’m not saying that it is right for somebody to sin. I’m not saying that sin is not actually sin nor am I saying that people do not need to repent from their sin. What I’m saying is that God does not wait people in the corner to punish them for their sins.
But let us see the above with an example from the Bible. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the perfect representation of the Father. He is the image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15). Whoever saw Him saw the Father (John 14:9) and He only did what He saw the Father doing (John 5:19). What therefore we will see Jesus doing, God would be doing the same today too. Let’s go then to John 8. There we see the Pharisees bringing to Jesus a woman that was caught during the act of adultery and asking Him what they should do to this woman. According to the law of Moses, this woman should have been stoned to death for her act. Her sin was punishable by death, no exceptions. But see here what answer Jesus gave to them:
John 8:7, 9-11 “So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, "He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first." Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, "Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?" She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more."”
What Jesus did here for this woman whose sin, according to the law of Moses, was punishable by death, he does also today. This is the heart of God brothers and sisters. The heart of God is first and foremost forgiveness not judgment. The heart of God is long suffering not short temper. Jesus during His earthly life went around visiting sinners, eating with them and staying in their houses, causing the religious people of his time, the Pharisees, to get mad at him. They were thinking, like some of us today, that these sinners should have been isolated and punished for their sins. But this is not why Jesus came for. See here what the Word tells us:
John 3:17 “For God did not sent His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
Luke 19:10 The Son of man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Matthew 9:12-13 “They who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. But you go and learn what this means, “I desire mercy, and not sacrifice”. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
God did not send His Son to condemn the world. He did not send him to condemn the sinners but to save the sinners. This is the age of grace. This is the age where God has extended His hand to the whole world and says “please be reconciled with me” (2 Corinthians 5:20-21). Indeed a day will come in which God will judge the world and those to whom He extended His invitation but they rejected Him. This is “the day of wrath” (Romans 2:5), the day in which God will judge those who denied the truth of the gospel and will be to them “tribulation and anguish” (Romans 2:9). This is the day in which those “that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ .. shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;” (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9). But this day has not come yet! Today is NOT the day of wrath and punishment but the age of grace; the age in which, God, by giving His Son, has extended a hand of friendship to all and wants all to be saved (1 Timothy 2:4). It is the day of reconciliation and not the day of judgment and punishment.
Returning to the woman that sinned: was what she did a sin? Of course it was and as such Jesus faced it. However, did Jesus condemn her for this? Did He picked up a stone to throw it to the sinner? NO. Instead He told her: “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” Jesus did not condemn the adulterous woman! "Neither do I condemn you" He told her. See however that He did not stop there. Many of us stop there. But Jesus didn’t. He also added: “go and sin no more”. God does not condemn the sinner. He welcomes him in. But he does not stop there. He also tells the sinner “go and sin no more. Make a new beginning, a new start. Move away from sin. I can help you in doing this, if you want. You can change!” As it is wrong to present God as always angry ready to punish the sinners, it is also wrong to present it as a grandfatherly figure that accepts sin, patting everybody in the back. God does accept the sinner, asking him however to now make a new beginning. To go and sin no more! To become not only a believer but to also live as a believer! To not only be forgiven for the sin, but to also repent for the sin! In fact I don’t think there is forgiveness without repentance. First comes repentance, then comes forgiveness. The “go and sin no more” invitation of Jesus was exactly that: an invitation for repentance, for change!
May every person that reads this accept the goodness of God and not take it for granted. Those who read this and do not know the Lord: God does not condemn you. Come to Him, to the living and loving God, make a new beginning, a new life, repent and go and sin no more. Any of those who read this and have known the Lord, yet practice sin in their life (i.e. live habitually and as a way of life in sin): the call for change is also for you. The grace of God is not a license for immorality and if it is presented or understood like this then it is a perverted grace and not the true grace of God. You need to change! You need to repent, to go and sin no more. A faith that is not lived out is dead and those who once knew the Lord yet no longer abide in Him, need to repent and return to the Lord. For as Jesus said for those branches that no longer abide in Him: “If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.” (John 15:6).
I’ll close these article with 2 invitations, similar to the "go and sin no more" invitation of Jesus:

Lamentations 3:40
“Let us search out and examine our ways, and turn back to the LORD;

And Isaiah 55:7
“let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”

We Serve A Risen Savior! - Anastasios Kioulachoglou

We serve a risen Savior!

It was nearly three days and three nights after the crucifixion. The body of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Messiah, was laid in a tomb outside Jerusalem, near the place He was crucified. They had anointed it with a lot of perfumes and dressed it with nice clothes. But what would be the benefit of this all? A dead body is a dead body, regardless of the clothes it is dressed or the perfumes and oils it is anointed. Lazarus’ body was dead and smelling decay. What would remain of it, if the Lord had not raised him from the dead would be just a sum of bones. But not this body! Not Jesus’ body. HIS BODY WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT DIDN’T SEE CORRUPTION. JESUS WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT DIED BUT RAISED AGAIN, LIVING FOREVER. He is the firstfruits of the dead (I Corinthians 15:20)! He had told the disciples that he would die and raise again after three days but they didn’t understand Him. They put Him in nice but grave clothes and anoint His body with nice perfumes, like they would do to a very honorable dead. They didn’t expect what happened three days and three nights after the crucifixion. May be nobody expected it: HE WAS RISEN! God raised Jesus Christ from the dead! Matthew gives us a summary of the wonderful things that happened that day:
Matthew 28:1-10, 16-20
“ Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men. But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. "He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. "And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you." So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word. And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!" So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me."… Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
Those who guarded the dead, became as dead and the one that was dead became alive! Christianity’s Head is alive! As the Word of God says in II Corinthians 13:4 :
II Corinthians 13:4
“For though He was crucified in weakness, yet He lives by the power of God.”
And as Paul told the Jews in Acts 13:26-39
Acts 13:26-39
"Men and brethren, sons of the family of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to you the word of this salvation has been sent. "For those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they did not know Him, nor even the voices of the Prophets which are read every Sabbath, have fulfilled them in condemning Him. "And though they found no cause for death in Him, they asked Pilate that He should be put to death. "Now when they had fulfilled all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the tree and laidHim in a tomb. "But God raised Him from the dead. "He was seen for many days by those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are His witnesses to the people. "And we declare to you glad tidings----that promise which was made to the fathers. God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm: `You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.' "And that He raised Him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, He has spoken thus: `I will give you the sure mercies of David. "Therefore He also says in another Psalm: `You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption.' "For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption; "but He whom God raised up saw no corruption. "Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; "and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.”
God raised Jesus form the dead! As it also says in Romans, by this it is proven that He is God’s Son (Romans 1:4), the only begotten Son of God! What a wonderful reality brothers! What a wonderful reality! In this present evil age, humanism and Satan, its god, have elevated good morals kicking out the name of our wonderful Lord. But we don’t serve a teacher of good morals. We serve the raised Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, King of kings and Lord of lords!

Five Scriptures Proving The Post Tribulation Rapture

Five Scriptures Proving The Post Tribulation Rapture

post tribulation rapture post tribWhen will the rapture occur? Will it be before, during or after the great tribulation? Five Scriptures are very clear regarding the exact timing of the rapture. If you drop all preconceived ideas and just go by the Scriptures themselves you will see the clarity of it all. Let’s look at the evidence, which sadly supports the post tribulation rapture doctrine.

VITAL Scriptures To Know During The Reign Of Antichrist

Mark 13:24-27 Shows A Post Tribulation Rapture

post trib rapture
1.   And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens (Mark 13:27).
NOTE: This event is the rapture. The elect will be gathered from earth to heaven and it occurs post tribulation (or that distress depending on the translation referred to), according to Mark 13:24-27:

But in those days, following that distress, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.

The second passage is very well-known, but apparently little understood:

FIND OUT When The Mark Of The Beast Will Be Issued Related To The Rapture

The Last Trumpet Mystery

2.   Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed (1 Cor. 15:51,52).

NOTE: The rapture is when our bodies will be changed and will occur when the last trumpet is sounded. This event is a also called a “mystery.”

Our Being Gathered To Him

3.   Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction (2 Thess. 2:1-3).
NOTE: This teaching is clearly about the rapture for it is described here as “our being gathered to him.” The two major events cited by Paul, which must precede it, have not happened and cannot happen until sometime after the temple is rebuilt and the antichrist is then revealed. Hence, the antichrist will be revealed before the rapture and the saints will face him.

The Seventh Trumpet = The Last Trumpet

4a. The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.” And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: “We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign. The nations were angry; and your wrath has come. The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your saints and those who reverence your name, both small and great—and for destroying those who destroy the earth” (Rev. 11:15-18).
NOTE: The seventh trumpet is the last trumpet. This is also when God’s wrath begins and the saints are rewarded. Lk. 14:14 says the rewards will be given out at the resurrection of the righteous (or rapture).

Immediately before the seventh trumpet sounds, we read this about the seventh trumpet:
4b. But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets(Rev. 10:7).
NOTE: The rapture event is a “mystery” in 1 Cor. 15:51,52 and here in Rev. 10:7 (at the last trumpet—the seventh one). This means all that is described during the first six trumpets will be experienced by the last generation of Christians.

Before The First Resurrection (The Post Tribulation Rapture)
The Mark Of The Beast Will Be Enforced

5.   I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years (Rev. 20:4-6).
NOTE: The first resurrection (or rapture) will occur after Christians are beheaded for remaining faithful during the time of the antichrist, which includes not taking the mark of the beast. Compare to 2 Thess. 2:1-3. Just like the pieces of a puzzle that fit together and form a clear picture, when these Scriptures are compared it becomes crystal clear that the rapture will occur after the tribulation period and we face the antichrist.

Also related to Rev. 20:4-6 is this passage:

If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints. (Rev 13:10)

Again, this is more evidence that the saints will face the antichrist and this will be before the first resurrection (or rapture). Yes, there will be a rapture (a catching up), as the Bible teaches:

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever (1 Thess. 4:16,17).

But before that event the Book of Revelation teaches an all-out nuclear exchange with massive devastation and death. Again, such will occur before the rapture, unlike what the any-moment rapture people think and have been told. Certainly, Tim LaHaye’s “Left Behind” series and many other such videos, books, etc. have done much harm regarding instilling false hopes in God’s children regarding the rapture escape. The Bible teaches a post tribulation rapture. It is as it is.

One can only wonder how many will have their faith destroyed, if they survive the all-out nuclear exchange with billions dying. Will their faith in the Bible and Jesus be destroyed because they were taught they would be taken away before such happens? If so, then perhaps, their falling away will be part of the great apostasy mentioned in 2 Thess. 2:3.

Dear saint, in the past the children of God have been burned at the stake, ripped apart by wild animals for amusement, beaten to death, etc. Please don’t think you won’t go through similar rough times yourself because you are his child. Don’t be deceived.

Will It Be A RFID Chip Mark Of The Beast

Two Of The Most Important Scriptures For That Time

As the age comes to the close, with wickedness increasing and love growing cold (Mt. 24:12), please remember these two Scriptures:

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell (Matt. 10:28).

They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimonythey did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death (Rev. 12:11).

Remember also that the tribulation is not the wrath of God, as you might have been taught. Furthermore, the tribulation is not seven years in length.

It is amazing how some pre-trib rapture people are so adamant about their belief in the timing of the rapture as to state that one is a heretic and/or unsaved if he rejects the pre-trib rapture teaching, but this has actually been taught and some have Rapture False Prophecybelieved this very thing. May God help them to see the truth. BTW, there have been MANY false prophecies which have come from the pre-trib rapture camp. Just two such people were Harold Camping and Edgar Whisenant.

Remember this: A wonderful paradise kingdom is awaiting the overcomer who remains faithful to God, even if he has the privilege to die for Jesus before getting there. Ponder Rev. 21:4 and 1 Cor. 2:9 for details.
