No Repentance & Obedience? No Salvation.

'We find ourselves in Acts chapter 5. The apostles were performing many miracles in Jesus' name and the religious Jewish teachers were very jealous. They took the apostles and put them in prison. At night the angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and led them out. When the Temple police went to get them, they were gone.

This passage has two doctrines the ear tickling preachers of today will not teach. The necessity of repentance  and the command to continue obeying Jesus. Friends, countless millions are being taught another gospel which is not another gospel, but sends souls to hell. We have no excuse. We have the bible, the Word of God. Trust no man with your soul.

Have you repented (turned) from your sin and are continuing to obey what Jesus and his apostles taught? Or have you been taught that grace covers unrepentance, disobedience and rebellion? If you have and are living that way, you are in danger of hell fire if you die in that condition  The scriptures never tell us grace covers sin. The false teachers are perverting grace and tickling your ears. Many, many are getting rich that way. While you live in rebellion to the truth, they tell you that you are under grace.

Many will hear Jesus say I never knew you. "1“Not everyone who keeps saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will get into the kingdom fromd heaven, but only the person who keeps doing the will of my Father in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, we prophesied in your name, drove out demons in your name, and performed many miracles in your name, didn’t we?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who practice evil!’”e Matthew 7 ISV

Please repent and continue to obey what Jesus and the apostles said. Life is a vapor. Please do not sacrifice eternal life for pleasures in a vapor. Jesus is true life and the source of every good thing.

Acts 5 ISV
25Then someone came and told them, “Look! The men you put in prison are standing in the Temple and teaching the people!” 26So the commander of the Temple guards went with his men to bring them back without force, because they were afraid of being stoned to death by the people. 27When they brought them back, they made them stand before the Council,l and the high priest began to question them. 28He said, “We gave you strict orders not to teach in his name, didn’t we? Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to bring this man’s blood on us!”

29But Peter and the apostles answered,
  • We must obey God rather than men!
  • 30The God of our ancestors raised Jesus to life after you killed him by hanging him on a tree.
  • 31God has exalted to his right hand this very man as our Leader and Savior
  • in order to extend repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel.
  • 32We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit,
  • whom God has given to those who keep on obeying him.
