Jesus Is The Only One Who Can Take Away Sin

Peter and John had just healed a crippled man. The Temple guards and Sadducees were upset they were teaching that Jesus had been resurrected from the dead. Please note verse 12. There is no salvation by anyone else than Jesus. Not Mary his earthly mother who called the baby in her womb "my savior", not Buddha, not the Pope, not the priests, not Allah,  not Hindu gods, etc.

Jesus is the Son of God who became human. He created everything. The Holy Spirit of God came upon Mary. She supplied the egg for his human body. She was a sinner, but the blood in his veins was not from Adam or Mary. It was from God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

  • 23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. 28Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. 29Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: 30Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.Romans 3 ISV

Acts 4 ISV

1While they were speaking to the people, the priests, the commander of the Temple guards, and the Sadducees came to them. 2They were greatly disturbed that Peter and Johna were teaching the people and announcing that Jesus had been resurrectedb from the dead3So they arrested them and placed them in custody until the next day, since it was already evening. 4But many of those who heard their message believed, and the men grew to number about 5,000.

5The next day, their rulers, elders, and scribes met in Jerusalem 6with Annas the high priest, Caiaphas, John,c Alexander, and the rest of the high priest’s family. 7They made Peter and Johnd stand in front of them and began asking, “By what power or by what name did you do this?”

8Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, told them, “Rulers and elders of the people! 9If we are being questioned today for a good deed done for someone who was sick or to learn how this man was healed,10you and all the people of Israel must understand that this man stands healthy before you because of the name of Jesus from Nazareth, whom you crucified, but whom God raised from the dead.11He is
‘the stone that was rejected by you builders,
which has become the cornerstone.’e
12There is no salvation by anyone else, for there is no other name under heaven given among people by which we must be saved.
