Tithing is not taught after the cross. The misuse of the word tithe over the centuries has led to today when teachers in their greed get wealthy telling their hearers to send them their tithes and they will receive more back. At the core of this is greed which is idolatry. Does God reward greed or does Satan? Greed opens people for deception and Satan is happy to reward people with money, but the teachers will not teach this as it would hurt their standard of living. Ear tickling is rule of the day.
Few people know that tithing is not taught in the New Testament. We are told to support godly teachers, widows and orphans. Not make multimillionaires and big buildings for people to meet in.
I do not know anything about the young man in this video, but he does a good job as to tithing.
You are absolutely correct. Absolutely no teaching of tithing in the scriptures after Calvary. Furthermore, the Biblical tithe always came from God's miraculous increase of food from crops and animals and never money and never from anyone's income or earnings. God defined His tithe in Leviticus 27:30-33. Church leaders changed the definition from God's increase to man's income during the late 1800s.
