Waring With The World, The Old Nature, And The Devil

L.A. Marzulli, watches for the works of the fallen one, Satan. Satan is not only messing with our minds, but is working with humans to change our DNA and many other evils. He has a plan to destroy man. Only those who surrender themselves through the repenting of their sins will escape the destruction of Satan. No human can outwit Satan without the power of the Holy Spirit and the new birth Jesus gives.

If you are not radically seeking to follow and obey Jesus the Messiah, Satan's trap is closing in on you. He will deeply wound Christians and his ultimate goal is to lead Christians away so far that they lose their faith. You are at war. Few understand how serious this is. L.A. I was going to write about taking every thought captive and then realized, wait a minute, I already have! So here it is!

Take Every Thought Captive!

I remember when I first read this thirty years ago; I thought to myself, how could anyone possibly take every thought captive?

In our own strength it would be impossibility, however, the Spirit of the living God who dwells in us will train us and teach us how to do this. If we learn to hear His voice and mind the checks that He gives us, we will find that we are able to keep track of the thoughts that are not in line with His kingdom or more specifically in line with His written word, His TORAH (the Law, or the first five books of the Old Testament). We check everything by what is written in the Guidebook to the Supernatural. We need to be familiar with the whole of Scripture, both the TANAKH, or what we would call the Old Testament, and the New Testament. There is a saying that goes like this: The new is in the old concealed while the old is in the new revealed. The bottom line for me is this, we need to know and study Torah, so that we will know what is right and good and what is not, and we need to flush that study out by what is written in the New Testament! We need the whole of the Scriptures! Remember that the early church did not have what we call the New Testament. They read and re-read Tanakh: the prophets and psalms and meditated on those Scriptures.

You see there are three kingdoms. There is the Kingdom of the Most High God, the Kingdom of the Fallen One and then there‟s our kingdom.

The Most High God‟s kingdom is one that is known by the fruits of love, faith, and peace.

The Fallen One‟s kingdom is known by hate, fear, and no peace.

Our kingdom is characterized by the “me first above all else” attitude; it is the kingdom of self-obsession!

That being said we must realize that all our thoughts are coming from one of the three sources or kingdoms. We must learn to differentiate between the three. This is why it is important to study and know what the Word says… in other words, as the commercial with the most interesting man in the world says, but with a pithy addition from my friend Bob Ulrich of Prophecy in the News: Stay thirsty my friend…. for the WORD!

All sin enters into us through our five senses. I will refer to these as gates. Through the gates of the eye, the ear, the nose, the skin, and the tongue, the information is sent to the brain, our computer, and from there we make judgments regarding how we will review the data.

Everyone has a worldview; this worldview determines the way in which we filter and process the data that comes to us from varied sources.

There are many worldviews on this planet. There are other religions and philosophies, but in my opinion the only true and correct worldview is found in the Bible. Some will scoff, but having tried many other systems or views, I have come to realize that the words that are in this book are inspired and hold the truth that have withstood the test of time for millennia.

Having said that, our goal is to weigh every thought against what is in the Scriptures, but in order to do this we have to know what is in the Scriptures. Here’s an example taken from this book. If Blossom Goodchild—a new age channeler— knew what the Scriptures say regarding what she is engaged in do you think she might reconsider her position? Please consider this, when the Fallen One tempted Yashua/Jesus, He answered by saying, It is written! He was fighting here; He had is armor on! He was using the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. This is our example and it is our offensive weapon.

Finally, there are the uncounted, unchecked thoughts that enter our minds. We are told by the Lord’s brother James that a thought enters into our minds then we think about it and then later we act on it. When David saw Bathsheba bathing, her image entered into him through the eye gate. He didn’t look away, instead he dwelt on what he had seen and because he didn’t check that information and take it captive, it eventually led to death. Bathsheba’s husband was set up by David to be killed in battle. The man was set in the front lines and then on a prearranged signal his support withdrew and he was left alone on the field of battle and killed.

This is a cogent example of how an unchecked thought leads to death. Here’s another. If a married man watches hours of porn, he is setting himself up for the destruction of his marriage. I know of case after case in which the guy is watching porn and the next step is an affair and then another affair until he is caught and in many cases the marriage, the children and everyone involved is caught up in the disaster. Lives are ruined, children damaged, jobs lost, all because of an unchecked thought life. I deliberately choose sexual sin because most men fall prey to it. It is what men struggle with so let’s not pretend that we don’t.

We must learn to take the thoughts captive. In other words the guy watching the porn has an option not to watch it. At the point of entry he must take authority over it in the name of Yashua/Jesus. This is warfare on a personal level.

As I have pointed out throughout this book, the Fallen One comes to rob, kill and destroy and he starts with a thought, a suggestion. Once we entertain that suggestion we are caught in his web and for the most part wounded and not prepared to do battle!

In order to understand how this works I’m going to suggest some war-footing strategies that I have employed and found victory in for the last thirty years. This is by no means an exhaustive study of spiritual warfare but it will get you started.

Insight Into President Obama

This evening I stopped at a gas station to get something to drink. The man behind the counter and I began to talk about how crazy our nation has become. The man was a Hindu. He was very, very concerned about where our nation is going and said boldly the Muslims are crazy and cannot be reasoned with. He then shocked me by telling me that he has connections to some of the radical Muslims. They had told him that we, the Americans, will not escape their wrath and that something is likely to take place in the next two months.

Brothers and sisters, if you are not seeking the Lord Jesus Christ with all of your hearts, you are in grave danger. The things that are coming on the earth are going to force you to take a stand for Christ or not. We will likely face the penalty of death for believing Jesus is the only way to the Father. If you are filling your minds with trash, worldly music, magazines, pleasure, cares of this life and the love of this world, how will you muster the strength to stand for Christ when it costs you your head if you do?

I believe many Christians will deny Jesus and lose their faith. Many will think that Jesus will forgive them, but Jesus said "if you deny me before men, I will deny you before my Father" (Matthew 10:23). Jesus is not some effeminate man that is fretting about those who do not love him. He created hell and will see that the wicked are thrown into it, forever. Life on earth is about how you respond to Jesus. The choices you make determine where you will spend eternity. Get into the New Testament and believe what is written. For the most part, the teachers are tickling ears. You must read the bible. The place you will spend eternity, will depend on how you respond and live according to what Jesus Christ said to do and not to do.

How Obamacare Will Subsidize Abortion

With all the attention focused on Ted Cruz’s attempt to defund Obamacare in the continuing resolution, some of the law’s parade of horribles are momentarily out of view. Come October 1, those horribles will resume their onward march as the law’s impact on subsidizing elective abortion will begin to become clearer.

One area that deserves special scrutiny is the feature known as Multi-State Plans (MSPs). This provision of Obamacare represented a partial victory for progressive forces who favored a national, single-payer system. In its place they accepted a category of health-insurance plans managed by the Office of Personnel Management under contracts with private insurance companies. Unlike the federal employee health plans, which are available only to federal workers and their families, these MSPs are guaranteed a place on each state (and District of Columbia) health-care exchange and will therefore be available to every resident of the United States. By virtue of being offered on the exchanges, premiums paid to purchase these plans will be eligible for the generous scheme of subsidies created under Obamacare.

Passage of MSPs required one other major finesse from Democrats on the Hill. In order to deal with the abortion coverage MSPs might provide, the law stipulated that each state must have at least two MSPs and that at least one of them must be a plan that confines its abortion coverage to situations defined by the Hyde Amendment, which are, to simplify a bit, cases of rape, incest, or where the life of the mother is in danger. While the law provided no specific assurance that the other MSPs (one or possibly many more) would cover elective abortion, it has seemed clear from the start (and blisteringly obvious from observing its past patterns) that the Obama administration would ensure that abortion-covering state plans (let’s call them ASPs) would be available everywhere possible (especially inasmuch as the MSP program might ultimately prove a gateway to single-payer).

The only obstacle standing in the way of this is substantial, a separate provision of Obamacare that recognizes the right of the states to exclude ASPs from their exchanges. On the eve of opening the exchanges for consumers to choose a plan and gain a major tax break in 2014, where do MSPs stand?

Twenty-three states, all of which have had Hyde Amendments governing their Medicaid plans in place for years, have banned ASPs from their exchanges. If United Health Care, CareFirst, Aetna, or another large insurer creates an ASP for purchase in New York, Vermont, or California, that plan can be offered in Virginia, Missouri, and 21 other states only if the elective-abortion coverage is excluded. ASPs can, however, be offered and heavily promoted in 27 states and the District of Columbia. Keep in mind as well that Obamacare fully finances (at first) the expansion of Medicaid in states that agree to sign on. At present, 17 states (13 of them by court order) fully fund elective abortion using state money in their health programs for the poor.

Is all this a tempest in a teapot with little effect on publicly supported abortion? Far from it. An analysis by the Charlotte Lozier Institute published this week suggests that the number of abortions that will be heavily subsidized via federal premium tax credits and Medicaid expansion is likely to be between 71,000 and 111,500 per year. This approaches one in ten abortions performed in the United States. The number is split roughly 50-50 between abortions subsidized by the ASPs in states that have not barred them from their exchanges and abortions newly reimbursable under Medicaid expansion in states that use their own taxpayer funds to underwrite them.

Social conservatives are rightly alarmed about the impact of Obamacare on abortion subsidies and reimbursement. They are also right to avoid naiveté about the ways in which OPM and Kathleen Sebelius’s Department of Health and Human Services will steer girls and women toward the ASPs as their best choice for “comprehensive reproductive health care.” One way is to engage Planned Parenthood and other elements of the abortion industry as major recruiters for these plans via the Navigator program, which is already underway. Look for the extra prominence of ASPs on government web sites and in promotional literature, where euphemisms may abound and default buttons can funnel applicants toward particular choices.

Whatever the outcome of the current maneuvers over defunding Obamacare in the continuing resolution, issues like MSPs and ASPs assure that the collateral battlegrounds will remain hot. We have passed the law and now we are beginning to find out what is really in it.

Unless We Repent, We Will All Perish. There Is Only One Way Of Escape.

Jesus has a message for all of us. It is not about our bodies dying. Jesus, in the following passage is talking about eternal death. If we reject the only price ever paid for sin by Jesus, we are left answering for all of our sins and receiving the punishment of hell, which will be thrown into the lake of fire and burns forever.

While there is time, please repent. Turn from your sins and follow Jesus. Do what he said and do not do what he said not to. If you do, repent quickly and continue following Jesus, He is God and the source of every good thing.

You may wonder why this video does not have sound. It appears there are some things Google does not want you to hear. I am seeing more and more discrimination against scriptures and truth. On my blogs, the analytics will show quite a number of visitors. Later on many of them are removed. I heard a major teacher tell this happens to him daily. This is likely happening to countless others. The warnings of Jesus Christ are hated. And to think he gave his life for us.

The Pope Belittles Two Major Commands Of God! Murder And Sexual Immorality.

The Pope is starting the process of turning away from the few true doctrines the Church has. This is clearly shown in his making light of sins which the scriptures tell us will be punished in the lake of fire forever, unless one repents and turns from their sins. It appears more and more clear this Pope could be the False Prophet the scriptures tell us will come. St. Malachy prophesied the final pope would be the False Prophet and he identified him by the number of popes who would arise. (see yellow notes below).

Is the Anti-Christ waiting for his day and knows the False Prophet is now preparing the way for him? Jesus the Messiah and Son of God had the way prepared for him by John the Baptist. Satan tries to copy God. Satan does nothing new.

It is evil for the pope to craftily under mind the seriousness of murdering babies and the seriousness of homosexuality and all sexual sins. Jesus gives the last warning in the bible in Revelation 21. The disciple John recorded Jesus' final warning:

6Then he told me, “It has happened! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will freely give a drink from the spring of the water of life to the one who is thirsty. 7The person who conquers will inherit these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son.8But people who are cowardly, unfaithful, detestable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars will find themselvesb in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. Mark tells us Jesus' words in Mark 9

47And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out. It’s better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell. 48In that place, worms never die, and the fire is never put out.
49Because everyone will be salted with fire, and every sacrifice will be salted with salt. ISV

If you are a follower of Christ, now more than ever, it is time for you to come out of Babylon as the scriptures tell us to do. If you are of Christ, you worship only him. Fellow followers of Jesus the Messiah, whether you are Catholic or non Catholic, you must obey Christ and not man, or you will suffer with the wicked. Now, more than ever, is the time to follow Christ. The sheep and the goats are soon to be separated.

The only way of escaping hell for our sins was made by Jesus the Messiah, who willingly took the wrath of his Father to pay for sin. If we reject that, don't repent and turn from our sins, we will spend forever in the lake that burns forever. Please, do not trade eternal life for things and sins of this earth which only last for a vapor.

If this be so he will also fulfill Brother Branham's prophesy of the final pope after the brief 'hot stage' of World War III: "I believe, one of these glorious days, when this united confederation of church goes together, and the new pope is brought out of the United States and put over there [in Jerusalem] according to prophecy [Daniel 7:25-25; 8:23-25; 9:27; 11:32-35; Revelation 13], then they'll form an image like unto the beast [the United States and Rome's (once) Protestant daughter churches]" (Acts of the Holy Spirit, p. 12:87).

According to Daniel 9:27, Revelation 13 and 17:10-18, Satan will incarnate the last pontiff who will deify himself and break Rome's covenant with the Jewish banksters. It is claimed Malachy made only 111 predictions and that the Benedictines devised pope 112 in order to dissociate their order from the "Beast" so that John Paul II's successor should be the final pope. However"Gloria olivae" resides still in Rome as Pope Emeritus, His Holiness (sic) Benedict XVI, and it appears Malachy's prophecy of popes 111 and 112 are intended to be conjoined in accordance with the two popes mentioned in Revelation 19:20, and 20:10. This scripture is reinforced by the fact Pope Benedict was the first pope to receive the Ring of St. Peter after it was re-instated by John Paul II who did not wear the ring, and contrary to custom Pope Benedict XVI did not destroy his ring but "disabled the seal" and now wears the ring contemporaneously with Pope Francis I, enjoining both to St. Peter—something that has never happened in the history of the false church, but fulfilling Jesus' prophecy!

Hell & Heaven. Which Kingdom Are You In?

Are You Seeking God's Blessing Without Repenting?

Brothers and sisters, I was raised in the scriptures and taught the Gospel of the kingdom, which requires repentance (turning from sin) as long as we are in this body. I asked Jesus to be my savior when I was six and believe I was born again. Around 12, we started going to a Calvinist church which taught the false teaching that there is nothing we can do to be saved. This devastated me and our family. I repented often, however, I eventually gave up and went on with life. Even then I was aware of the Lord and talked to him. Around 30 years of age, I went through a short, but devastating period as a prodigal. By the mercy of God, I returned to the Father about 3 years later. The one thing I knew was that I had to stop sinning. In 1991, I began the process of protecting my eyes and ears and seeking after God. I want to be a man after God's own heart.

Are you a Christian prodigal and unaware that if you die you may hear Jesus say "I never knew you"? Please take note! The prodigal son's father pronounced his son "dead". I believe this is the case with millions of Christians. I meet them regularly. They do not understand repentance and that Paul told us there is a race to finish. The past few generations have listened to teachers who tickle the peoples ears and leave out the warnings of a loving, but Holy God. We must live holy lives.

2 Peter 3

8Don’t forget this fact, dear friends: With the Lord a single day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a single day. 9The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some people understand slowness, but is being patient with you. He does not want anyone to perish, but wantsf everyone to repent. 10But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief. On that dayg the heavens will disappear with a roaring sound, the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done on it will be exposed. ISV

Proverbs 4

20My son, pay attention to my words,

and listen closelyh to what I say.

21Do not let them out of your sight;

keep them within your heart.

22For they are life to those who find them,

and healing to their whole body.i

23Above everything elsej guard your heart,

because from it flow the springs of life.

24Never talk deceptively

and don’t keep company with people whose speech is corrupt.k

Luke 15
Jesus tells us "32But we had to celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and has come back to life. He was lost and has been found.’” ISV

Hebrews 12

Esau sought the blessing. Not repentance. ISV

12Therefore, strengthen your tired arms and your weak knees, 13and straighten the paths of your life,j so that your lameness may not become worse, but instead may be healed.

14Pursue peace with everyone, as well as holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. 15See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up and causes you trouble, or many of you will become defiled. 16No one should be immoral or godless like Esau, who sold his birthright for a single meal. 17For you know that afterwards, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected because he could not find any opportunity to repent, even though he begged to repentk with tears.

Also, please read the entire chapter of Ezekiel 18. I refer to it as "The Gospel according to Ezekiel". It addresses almost all of the points above. One being, the Lord tells us that if a righteous man turns from his righteous ways he will die (eternally). If a wicked man turns from his wicked ways and practices righteousness he will live (eternally). We must finish the race!

Not Many People Find The Road To Eternal Life

"At this spot in your life, you are what you are 100%, as a result of the choices you have made, and a billion years from now, you will be eternally in the place where you will be at, on the choices you will make." Mark Byers, Pastor, Calvary Christian Church Of Royal Oak Michigan, from his series "Hell and Heaven".

Our fallen natures do not want to think about hell, however, as Mark said above, where we will spend eternity depends on the choices we make. Are our lives pleasing God or are we caught up in the cares of this life and sin? "God is no respecter of persons" Acts 10:34. We are told in Ecclesiastes 7:

2It’s better to attend a funeralb

than to attend a banquet,c

for everyone dies eventually,

and the living will take this to heart.

3Sorrow is better than laughter,

because the heart is made better through trouble.

4For the wise person thinks carefully when in mourning,

but fools focus their thoughts on pleasure.

5It is better to listen to a wise person’s rebuke

than to listen to the praised of fools.

6For as thorns burn to heat a pot,

so also is the laughter of the fool—

even this is pointless.

Jesus, talking to his disciples, said the following. Please note that he is talking to his disciples and warning them. One of them named Judas, would fall away. If Jesus warned his disciples, how much more should we heed the following warning! If you are not obeying Jesus the Messiah, I plead with you to turn from your sins and follow him in obedience. If you sin, repent quickly and follow him in obedience.

13“Go in through the narrow gate, because the gate is wide and the road is spacious that leads to destruction, and many people are entering by it. 14How narrow is the gate and how constricted is the road that leads to life, and there aren’t many people who find it!” Matthew 7 ISV

We All Will Be Resurrected. Some To Eternal Life. Some To Eternal Condemnation.

A friend of mine passed away this past weekend he was younger than me. I had just talked to him a couple of weeks ago. He died suddenly and without warning. He lived a life of repentance of sin and followed Jesus. I can see him sitting in a chair, reading his bible. Soon we all will hear the voice of Jesus the Messiah. Those who have obeyed Jesus will experience the resurrection that leads to life. Those who have practiced what is evil will experience the resurrection that ends in condemnation.

Please listen to Jesus the Messiah. He shed his blood so we could be forgiven of sin and follow him. He is the only way of escape from the lake of fire which burns forever.

John 5 ISV

19Jesus told them, “Truly, I tell all of youk emphatically,

the Son can do nothing on his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing,
What the Father does, the Son does likewise.
20The Father loves the Son and shows him everything he is doing, and he will show him even greater actions than these, so that you may be amazed.
21Just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to those he chooses.
22The Father judges no one, but has given all authority to judge to the Son, 23so that everyone may honor the Son as they honor the Father.
Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

whoever hears what I say and believes in the one who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged, but has passed from death to life.
