Jim Staley - Truth or Tradition

Brothers and sisters, for decades I celebrated  holidays which came from Pagan false gods. It is time we come out of Babylon. This is about our souls and those we love. Do we love Jesus Christ, the God of Abraham, or our pagan holidays which celebrate abominations?

  • " 13Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 14As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, 15but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; 16because it is written, “YOU SHALL BE HOLYFOR I AM HOLY.” 1 Peter 1 NASB
  • 1“These are the statutes and the judgments which you shall carefully observe in the land which the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you to possess as long as you live on the earth. 2“You shall utterly destroy all the places where the nations whom you shall dispossess serve their gods, on the high mountains and on the hills and under every green tree. 3“You shall tear down their altars and smash their sacred pillars and burn their Asherim with fire, and you shall cut down the engraved images of their gods and obliterate their name from that place. 4You shall not act like this toward the LORD your God. Deuteronomy Chapter 1
Do we understand that God hates these things?? They destroy souls! Just because he is patient for those who He knows will repent, does not mean he has changed his mind!!! "29“Also the Glory of Israel will not lie or change His mind; for He is not a man that He should change His mind.” 1 Samuel 15 NASB

Remember the Church of Laodicea. Jesus said they were lukewarm and He would vomit them out of his mouth. Do we really know God? Do we think he winks at these things? The false teachers tell us grace covers our sins. Have you ever tried to find such a thing in the scriptures? Friends, only the blood of Jesus covers sins. Are we trampling his blood under our feet?

For those who trust their own opinions, the Laodicean Church is translated "the Church of Man's Opinions".
