Do We Eagerly Wait For Jesus?

Speaking of Jesus, Paul tells us that Jesus will return to "bring salvation to those who eagerly wait for him". Are we eagerly waiting for Jesus and obeying him or are we lukewarm or cold? Please do not drift away from the only source of salvation there is!

Hebrew 9 ISV
But now, at the end of the ages, he has appeared once for all to remove sin by his sacrifice. 27Indeed, just as people are destined to die once and after that to be judged,t 28so the Messiahu was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people. And he will appear a second time, not to deal with sin,v but to bring salvation to those who eagerly wait for him.

The Danger Of Being Enlightened, Yet Continuing In Sin

The Apostle Paul warns us of the danger of continued sinning. You will not hear this from most preachers of our day who are tickling their listeners ears and telling people what they want to hear. If our soul is valuable to us, we need to realize the danger of continued sinning.

Brothers and sisters, we are responsible for what we do with the gospel. Many are falling away "as they continue to crucify the Son of God to their own detriment by exposing him to public ridicule". So many people think that by saying a so called "sinners prayer" they are "saved" and can go on sinning. Ear tickling preachers teach this. The scriptures do not. If you are continuing in willful sin, you are playing with falling away and being cursed and burned.

Hebrews 6 ISV
The Peril of Immaturity
4For it is impossible to keep on restoring to repentance time and again people
  • who have once been enlightened,
  • who have tasted the heavenly gift,
  • who have become partners with the Holy Spirit,
  • 5who have tasted the goodness of God’s word and the powers of the coming age,
  • 6and who have fallen away,
  • as long as they continue to crucify the Son of God to their own detriment by exposing him to public ridicule.
7For when the ground soaks up rain that often falls on it and continues producing vegetation useful to those for whom it is cultivated, it receives a blessing from God. 8However, if it continues to produce thorns and thistles, it is worthless and in danger of being cursed, and in the end will be burned.

America's Future And The Wrath Of God.

Brothers and sisters, I truly believe judgment has been pronounced on our nation and we are Mystery Babylon. What other nation has been so great and could be called by God in the past tense "a gold cup in my hand". So much good has come from our history. Now we pollute the world with our filth.

What is America's future? I watch for prophetical events to happen as prophesied by certain men I respect and have listened to over the years. One is Dumitru Duduman and the other is David Wilkerson. Both have passed away. I also believe Perry Stone has heard from the Lord. The devil does not warn us to turn from sin and follow Jesus the Messiah.

I highly recommend you read the article below about David Wilkerson's prophesies. Both Dumitru Duduman and David Wilkerson have had experiences from the Lord that appear to be very much in alignment. To believe what they say will have no negative impact on God's Word. To believe them and the countless supporting dreams and visions Christians are having across the globe, I pray, will spur you to you to pray and get ready spiritually for what is coming. We do not want to be like the five virgins who were not ready. When calamity comes, it will be very difficult if not impossible to stand if we have been lukewarm. There will not be time to prepare.

We desperately need to repent and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. Protect your eyes and ears and seek a holy life. Pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I prayed for several years, but one night in early 2010, while I was surrendering my all to the Lord, which I was often prone to do, I  received the gift of tongues and the next day I was baptized by the Holy Spirit. By the grace of God, I will never be the same.

Since then I have been through many trials, but they have ALL been for my growth and God's glory. I seek to die daily to my old nature and I have asked the Father to be found faithful in the days to come. This request resulted in many trials as the Lord placed me in spiritual boot camp. I must decrease and he must increase. We must die to our old nature. It is a choice. It is a war against our old nature. Please hear the Savior:

"34Then Jesuscc called the crowd to himself along with his disciples and told them, “If anyone wants to follow me, he must deny himself, pick up his cross, and follow me continuously35because whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and for the gospel will save it. 36What profit will a person have if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life?37Indeed, what can a person give in exchange for his life? 38If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes with the holy angels in his Father’s glory.” Mark 8 ISV

David Wilkerson Economic Collapse then A Russian Invasion

David Wilkerson had a series of visions and angelic visitations from the lord during his life time until his death in 2011, about the coming collapse of the U.S. economy and the destruction of America. In the economic collapse there will be riots and fires all across major cities in this nation. This will be a time of great apostasy and persecution in the church like never before. After the economic collapse of the United States the nation will be at its weakest point. A hydrogen holocaust will then sweep this nation in a Russian invasion of America. When Israel sees the destruction of America Russia will try to invade the Holy Land where 5/6th of the army's of  Russia will be destroyed by Jesus himself.

David Wilkerson Prophecy 1973

"Worldwide recession caused by economic confusion"
  1. "At most a few more fat flourishing years, and then an economic recession that's going to affect the life style of every wage-earner in the world. The world economists are going to be at loss to explain what's happening. It's going to start in Europe, spread to Japan and finally to the United States."
  2. There will be a move toward a worldwide, unified monetary system. The US dollar will be hit bad and it will take years for it to recover.
  3. The only real security will be in real estate (until a somewhat later stage, at which point this apparent security will also disappear).
"Nature having labor pains"
  1. Environmentalists will come under heavy criticism.
  2. There will be major earthquakes.
  3. There will be a major famine.
  4. Floods, hurricanes and tornadoes will increase in frequency.
  5. "A new kind of cosmic storm appearing as a raging fire in the sky leaving a kind of vapor trail."
"A flood of filth and a baptism of dirt in America"
  1. Topless women will appear on television, followed by full nudity.
  2. Adult, X rated movies will be shown on cable television. Young people will gather at homes to watch this kind of material in groups.
  3. Sex and the occult will be mixed.
  4. There will be an acceptance of homosexuality, and the church will even say that it is a God-given gift.
"Rebellion in the home"
  1. "I see the new number one youth problem in America and the world as hatred towards parents."
"A persecution madness against truly Spirit filled Christians who love Jesus Christ"
  1. There will arise a world church consisting of a union between liberal ecumenical Protestants and the Roman Catholic Church, using Christ in name only.
  2. There will be a hate Christ movement.
  3. There will be a spiritual awakening behind the Iron and Bamboo Curtains.
 Others
  1. There will be another wave of riots.
  2. There will be a fall in moral conduct.
  3. There will be a new drug that will be popular with teenagers that will break down resistance and will encourage sexual activity.
  4. Homosexual and lesbian ministers will be ordained and this will be heralded as a new breed of pioneer.
  5. There will be nude dancing in church, but this will never be widespread.
  6. There will be occult practices in churches.
David Wilkerson Prophecy 1985
America is going to be destroyed by fire! Sudden destruction is coming and few will escape. Unexpectedly, and in one hour, a hydrogen holocaust will engulf America and this nation will be no more. It is because America has sinned against the greatest light. Other nations are just as sinful, but none are as flooded with gospel light as ours. God is going to judge America for its violence, its crimes, its backsliding, its murdering of millions of babies, its flaunting of homosexuality and sadomasochism, its corruption, its drunkenness and drug abuse, its form of godliness without power, its Luke warmness toward Christ, its rampant divorce and adultery, its lewd pornography, its child molestations, its cheating, its robbing, its dirty movies, and its occult practices.
An attack from Russia, and "The great holocaust follows an economic collapse in America.

David Wilkerson Prophecy 1992
Thirty days of chastisement will fall on New York City such as the world has never seen.  God is going to let down the walls. There will be unimaginable violence and looting.  The violence will be so ferocious, it will shock the whole world.  Our streets will be lined, not just with the National Guard, but with militia. A thousand fires will burn at the same time throughout the city.  The Los Angeles fires were confined to a few sections of that city, but New York will be ablaze in all its boroughs.  Fire trucks will not be able to handle it all. Trains and buses will be shut down. Billions of dollars will be lost. Broadway shows will stop completely.  Businesses will flee the city in an unstoppable hemorrhage.  Such things are expected in Third World countries, but not in a civilized nation like the United States.      Yet, in not too long a time afterwards, New York City will go completely bankrupt.  The Queen City will be cast into the dirt, becoming a city of poverty. What I saw coming will be much more severe.  Indeed, if America rejects God’s call to turn back to Him, we’ll face the same judgments Israel faced.  And they will hit not only New York but also every region in the country.  Even the heartland won’t be spared.  The nation’s economy will collapse, and violence will erupt.  Fires will consume our cities, and tanks will rumble through the streets. pray that God would give our President the same spirit that Josiah had, to tremble at his Word.

David Wilkerson Prophecy 2009
An Earth-Shattering Calamity is About to happen. It is going to be so frighting. We are all going to Tremble, even the godliest among us.

For ten years I have been warning about a thousand fires coming to New York City.  It will engulf the whole megaplex, including areas of New Jersey and Connecticut.  Major cities all across America will experience riots and blazing fires such as we saw in Watts, Los Angeles, years ago in August, 1965. There will be riots and fires in cities worldwide.  There will be looting — including Times Square, New York City. What we are experiencing now is not a recession, not even a depression.
We are under God’s wrath

When We Meet God Will We Hear "Well Done" or "Depart From, Me I Never Knew You"?

Chuck Missler quoted this centuries old ancient writing which was written in Gothic Medieval alphabet, on a cathedral door in Germany.

You call me eternal, then do not seek me.
You call me fair, then do not love me.
You call me gracious, then do not trust me.
You call me just, then do not fear me.
You call me life, then do not choose me.
You call me light, then do not see me.
You call me Lord, then do not respect me.
You call me master, then do not obey me.
You call me merciful, then do not thank me.
You call me mighty, then do not honor me.
You call me noble, then do not serve me.
You call me rich, then do not ask me.
You call me Savior, then do not praise me.
You call me shepherd, then do not follow me.
You call me wise, then do not heed me.
You call me Son of God, then do not worship me.
When I abandon you, then do not blame me.

The previous writing so describes the condition of so many of the churches in the United States. The verse that came to my mind as I was about to publish this is:

1You must realize, however, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3unfeeling, uncooperative, slanderous, degenerate, brutal, hateful of what is good, 4traitors, reckless, conceited, and lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. 5They will hold to an outward form of godliness but deny its power. Stay away from such people. 2 Timothy 4 ISV

Brothers and sisters, what would we give in exchange for our souls? What do you put into your mind and ears? Do you watch the devil's portal (TV) that comes into your home to pollute you and your family? Do you listen to the devil's music? Are you in love with this world and its system? Are you hot for God and will hear well done or are you lukewarm and will be spit out of God's mouth and hear "I never knew you"? Today is the day of repentance and salvation. You may never have another opportunity.

The Gospel Requires We Turn From Disobedience And Not Harden Our Hearts

Paul warns the Hebrews that many of their forefathers had failed to enter God's rest because of their disobedience. This same thing is happening with the gentiles as many who hear the gospel and claim to believe are living in disobedience and are hardening their hearts. Paul says that if you hear God's voice, do not harden your heart, but make every effort to enter God's rest. That rest is found in the gospel through faith.

Brothers and sisters, if you are living in sin and rebellion you are playing with hell fire. You must repent. We are told to "make every effort to enter that rest". The Lord understands temptation, so do not stop "coming boldly to the throne of grace, so that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need". We have not finished the race yet. We are responsible for our actions.

Hebrews 4 ISV

1Therefore, as long as the promise of entering his rest remains valid, let us be afraid! Otherwise, some of you will faila to reach it, 2because we have had the good news told to us as well as to them. But the message they heard did not help them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened to it. 3We who have believed are entering that rest, just as he has said,
“So in my anger I swore a solemn oath
that they would never enter my rest,”b
even though his actions had been finished since the creationc of the world. 4Somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day as follows: “On the seventh day God rested from all his actions,”d5and again in this passage,e “They will never enter my rest.”f 6Therefore, since it is still true that some will enter it, and since those who once heard the good news failed to enter it because of their disobedience7he again fixes a definite day—“Today”—saying long afterward through David, as already quoted,
“Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts.”g
8For if Joshuah had given them rest, he would not have spoken later about another day.
9There remains, therefore, a Sabbath rest for the people of God to keep, 10because the one who enters God’si rest has himself rested from his own actions, just as God didj from his. 11Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fail by following their example of disobedience. 12For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul and spirit, joints and marrow, as it judges the thoughts and purposes of the heart. 13No creature can hide from him, but everyone is exposed and helpless before the eyes of the one to whom we must give a word of explanation.

14Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone to heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us live our lives consistent withk our confession of faith.l 15For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses. Instead, we have one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet he never sinned. 16So let us keep on coming boldly to the throne of grace, so that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

The Fall of America - Dumitru Duduman

This series of short videos is one I treasure. They are about Dumitru Duduman's testimony and I believe a warning from God to the United States. I personally believe, as he stated, he was sent to America in 1984, to warn us of our destruction. I remember hearing him speak as I drove across the country. He passed on in 1997.

There is a very serious warning here, but for those who have stopped sinning, turned from their sin and obey God, there are magnificent promises! We all sin, but the scriptures tell us over and over about sins that keep us out of the kingdom of God. They are listed many times in my blog. In the Revelation, the last book of the Bible, Jesus gives a list in Revelation 21:8. The Apostles also list sins that keep us out of the kingdom of God. They are not just a check list. If you do not have an obedient heart, you must repent and follow Jesus. Brothers and sisters, protect your eyes and ears. Flee from sin.

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Part 4

Part 5

Are You Being Hardened By The Deceitfulness Of Sin?

Brothers and sisters, as we continue to look at Paul's warnings in Hebrews, please note that he addresses the believers as "holy brothers" and then warns them "See to it, my brothers, that no evil, unbelieving heart is found in any of you, as shown by your turning away from the living God."

It is so easy for us as believers to simply read past this and assume that we are OK. Especially in this day of ear tickling preachers who do not warn. They use the scriptures that please their hearers and do not give the countless warnings which are designed to keep us on the straight and narrow path. Jesus warns us:

"13“Go in through the narrow gate, because the gate is wide and the road is spacious that leads to destruction, and many people are entering by it. 14How narrow is the gate and how constricted is the road that leads to life, and there aren’t many people who find it!” Matthew 7 ISV

Friends, we need the warnings and we should use them to drive us to stay close to the Savior 's side. Many are being destroyed by false teachers who have people say a sinner's prayer and then pronounce them "saved". This is not scriptural and has created churches filled with pastors and members who are goats and not sheep. Today will be the last day for some of them. Paul would not warn them if it were not possible for them to repent and return. We are to judge ourselves to make sure we are in the faith, as Paul says elsewhere:

"However, you must remain firmly established and steadfast in the faith, without being moved from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven and of which I, Paul, have become a servant". Colossians 1:23 ISV

Hebrews 3 ISV

1Therefore, holy brothers, partners in a heavenly calling, keep your focus on Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession. 2He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was in all God’sa household, 3because he is worthy of greater glory than Moses in the same way that the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself. 4After all, every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything. 5Moses was faithful in all God’sb household as a servant who was to testify to what would be said later, 6but the Messiahc was faithfuld as the Son in charge of God’se household, and we are his household if we hold on to our courage and the hope in which we rejoice.f

7Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says,
“Today, if you hear his voice,
8do not harden your hearts
as they did when they provoked me
during the time of testing in the wilderness.
9There your ancestors tested me,
even though they had seen my actions 10for 40 years.
That is why I was indignant with that generation and said,
‘They are always going astray in their hearts,
and they have not known my ways.’
11So in my anger I swore a solemn oath
that they would never enter my rest.”g
12See to it, my brothers, that no evil, unbelieving heart is found in any of you, as shown by your turning away from the living God. 13Instead, continue to encourage one another every day, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin14because we are the Messiah’sh partners only if we hold on to our original confidence to the end.i 15As it is said,
“Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts
as they did when they provoked me.”j
16Now who heard him and provoked him? Was it not all those who came out of Egypt ledk by Moses? 17And with whom was he angry for 40 years? Was it not with those who sinned and whose bodies fell dead in the wilderness? 18And to whom did he swear that they would never enter his rest? It was to those who disobeyed him, was it not? 19So we see that they were unable to enter because of their unbelief.

Are You Drifting Away From Christ's Salvation?

Brothers and sisters, there are many warnings in the scriptures about drifting or falling away from the only salvation that exists. That salvation was purchased with the blood of Jesus the Messiah. In our day we have perverted the grace of God and countless preachers teach that grace covers sin.

I have asked believers who are living in sexual sin if they are not afraid of dying and going to hell, only to hear them say "I am under grace". The scriptures teach the opposite. If you offer yourself to to sin, you are a slave to sin. Jesus told us ""No one can serve two masters, because either he will hate one and love the other, or be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and riches!" Matthew 6:24 ISV

Romans 6 ISV
8Now if we have died with the Messiah,c we believe that we will also live with him, 9for we know that the Messiah,d who was raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10For when he died, he died once and for all as far as sin is concerned. But now that he is alive, he lives for God. 11In the same way, you too must continuously consider yourselves dead as far as sin is concerned, but living for God through the Messiahe Jesus.f
  • 12Therefore, do not let sin rule your mortal bodies so that you obey their desires. 13Stop offeringg the parts of your bodyh to sin as instruments of unrighteousness. Instead, offer yourselves to God as people who have been brought from death to life and the parts of your bodyi as instruments of righteousness to God. 14For sin will not have mastery over you, because you are not under Law but under grace.
15What, then, does this mean?j Should we go on sinning because we are not under Law but under grace? Of course not! 16Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17But thank God that, though you were once slaves of sin, you became obedient from your hearts to that form of teaching with which you were entrusted! 18And since you have been freed from sin, you have become slaves of righteousness.
Continuing in Hebrews we see another warning about drifting away from God and the gospel. You cannot drift away from or fall away from a place you never been. If this describes you, repent and turn from your sin and Jesus will forgive you. "because what profit will a person have if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what can a person give in exchange for his life?" Matthew 16:26

Hebrews 2 ISV

1For this reason we must pay closer attention to the things we have heard, or we may drift away, 2because if the message spoken by angels was reliable, and every violation and act of disobedience received its just punishment3how will we escape if we neglect a salvation as great as this? It was first proclaimed by the Lord himself, and then it was confirmed to us by those who heard him,4while God added his testimony through signs, wonders, various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.

5For he did not put the coming world we are talking about under the control of angels. 6Instead, someone has declared somewhere,
“What is man that you should remember him,
or the son of man that you should care for him?
7You made him a little lower than the angels,
yet you crowned him with glory and honor
8and put everything under his feet.”a
Now when Godb put everything under him, he left nothing outside his control. However, at the present time we do not yet see everything put under him. 9But we do see someone who was made a little lower than the angels. He is Jesus, who is crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace ofc God he might experienced death for everyone.
10It was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through suffering as part of his plan to glorify many children, 11because both the one who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified all have the same Father.e That is why Jesusf is not ashamed to call them brothers 12when he says, “I will announce your name to my brothers. I will praise you within the congregation.”g 13And again, “I will trust him.”h And again, “I am here with the children God has given me.”i
14Therefore, since the children have flesh and blood, he himself also shared the same things, so that by his death he might destroy the one who has the power of death (that is, the devil) 15and might free those who were slaves all their lives because they were terrified by death. 16For it is clear that he did not come to help angels. No, he came to help Abraham’s descendants, 17thereby becoming like his brothers in every way, so that he could be a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God and could atone for the people’s sins. 18Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

Tell Me The Story Of Jesus. Write On My Heart Every Word.

As we continue through the New Testament with a focus on the warnings of Jesus and his disciples, we find ourselves in Hebrews. Before we start to look at chapter 1 of Hebrews, I want us to look at the first words John the disciple wrote about Jesus who is also called "the Son" and called "the Word". It is critical we understand Jesus is eternal God and part of the three persons that make up God. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. They have no beginning and no end. Jesus made everything that has been made.

Before man was created Jesus made every thing that was made including the angels. Lucifer, who is Satan, led a rebellion of one third of the angels against God and all of them were cast out of heaven. Man is different from the angels as Jesus made man in the image of God. We are a three part being. Mankind has also sinned against God, but God had a plan of redemption for mankind. Jesus who is God, paid the price for mankind's sin on the cross. All who believe in him and turn from their sin will be forgiven and live forever with God.
  • 1In the beginning, the Word existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He existed in the beginning with God. 3Through him all things were made, and apart from him nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life brought light to humanity.a 5And the light shines on in the darkness, and the darkness has never put it out.b John 1 ISV
Hebrews 1 ISV
1God, having spoken in former times in fragmentary and varied fashion to our forefathers by the prophets, 2has in these last days spoken to us by a Son whom he appointed to be the heir of everything and through whom he also made the universe. 3He is the reflectiona of God’s glory and the exact likeness of his being, and he holds everything together by his powerful word.

After he had provided a cleansing from sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Highest Majesty 4and became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is better than theirs.

5For to which of the angels did Godb ever say, “You are my Son. Today I have become your Father”?c Or again, “I will be his Father, and he will be my Son”?d 6And again, when he bringse his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.”f

7Now about the angels he says,
“He makes his angels winds,
and his servants flames of fire.”g
8But about the Son he says,
“Your throne, O God,
is forever and ever,
and the scepter of your kingdom
is a righteous scepter.
9You have loved righteousness
and hated wickedness.
That is why God, your God,
anointed you rather than your companions
with the oil of gladness.”h
10And,
“In the beginning, Lord,i
you laid the foundation of the earth,
and the heavens are the work of your hands.
11They will come to an end,
but you will remain forever.
They will all wear out like clothes.
12You will roll them up like a robe,
and they will be changed like clothes.
But you remain the same,
and your lifej will never end.”k
13But to which of the angels did he ever say,
“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”?l
14All of them are spirits on a divine mission, sent to serve those who are about to inherit salvation, aren’t they?
