Is Billy Graham a Christian, Is One Thing, But His Doctrines From Hell, Are Another.

Brothers and sisters, do you really know Billy Graham? Of course we don't. Do you know his doctrines? I was shocked to discover, I had no clue, yet his false doctrines have gone out into the world and his countless sons, such as Joel Osteen and Joseph Prince, are destroying untold souls. Graham and his sons are making the way for anti'Christ. The evidence is clear. Billy Graham is an apostate.

I recently watched a video of Billy Graham in a sermon he gave back in the 1950s, and he said, "Because it's the ONLY way to heaven. It is the only way to get forgiveness of sin, and if you haven't come by faith to the foot of that cross renouncing your sins, I don't care who you are, what you are -- you will never be in heaven." That sure sounds good doesn't it?

It sounds like Billy Graham is a real Christian, and it's also why I believe he's one of the most deceptive men of our day. Due to quotations like this, I have had many objections to my statements about Billy Graham and his teaching of false gospel; so many I found it necessary to write a full-length article about him. Billy Graham may SAY these things on stage, but he dosen't truly believe them. 

Because people tend to take extremes and take my words out of context, I want to make it clear that I am NOT saying people have not been truly born-again saved at a Billy Graham event. I amNOT saying all people who work in the Billy Graham organization are apostates. I am NOT saying Billy Graham has never preached a good sermon. However, what I AM saying is that we have VERY little evidence of Billy Graham's faith in the Jesus Christ of the Bible, and a LARGE amount of evidence that he believes in a false, new-age idol he calls "Jesus Christ." 

NOTE: Billy Graham is 501c3 incorporated, and he uses new-age bible versions, often promoting the NIV. We won't cover these problems here because we address them in other articles.

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Just by looking at his media coverage, it's obvious how much faith people have put into Billy Graham. I have shown some of the things in this article to others in person, and had them say, "That can't be right," or "Someone must have dubbed that audio," because they had listened to Billy Graham for so many years, and had never seen the truth behind what he really believes. I have even had a close friend of ours try to defend Graham by saying that he just might be losing his mind in his old age and accidentally said some incorrect things, but as you are about to read for yourself, the Graham quotes in this article go clear back to the 1950s, so unless you want to claim that Billy Graham has been insane for 60 years, that argument won't work. I'm sorry if someone has built up confidence in Billy Graham, and I understand how disappointing it can be when we learn the whole truth about someone we have had faith in, but the Bible says:

[It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
-Psalm 118:8

The reason Billy Graham is so deceptive to the masses is because he will talk of faith and grace in Jesus, repentance of sins, and heaven vs hell, but we need to understand Billy Graham does not believe these things. We must not look only at the actions of men, but also what they openly confess, and all of these things combined make up the "fruits," and then we can examine them up-close to properly identify his true beliefs. 

The San Francisco News interviewed Billy Graham in 1957. Graham states the following about converts at his evangelistic sermons:
"Anyone who makes a decision at our meetings is seen later and referred to a local clergyman, Protestant, Catholic, or Jewish."

"Many of the people who reach a decision for Christ at our meetings have joined the Catholic Church and we have received commendations from Catholic publications for the revived interest in their Church following our campaigns. This happened both in Boston and Washington. After all, one of our prime purposes is to help the churches in a community. If after we move on, the local (sic) churches do not feel the efforts of these meetings in increased membership and attendance, then our crusade would have to be considered a failure.

Most of Billy Graham's "crusades" and audiences so-called "decisions for Christ," are adding converts to the apostasy of Rome's pagan Catholic church.

Notice that Billy Graham stated that one of his prime purposes was to "help churches in a community," and to Graham, this means ALL churches, even ones that are teaching heresy and abomination against the Lord Jesus Christ. For the past 60 years and counting, Graham has been adding converts to apostate churches, and helping to grow supporters for the coming One-World Religion of the final anti-christ. 

According to the documentation in Cathy Burns's book, Billy Graham and His Friends: A Hidden Agenda (with over 4,000 footnote references on Graham and his "crusades"), Graham has had priests and nuns in the audience of his crusades. If you don't understand why this is odd, of all the Catholics I have met, they won't step foot into a real evangelical church, so why are to they attending Graham's event? By 1973, there were nuns singing in Graham's choirs, and in some instances, Graham has had Catholic bishops on the stage with him to "bless" the audience during his sermons!

Graham has believed, at least for the past 60 years, and most likely his entire life, that Catholicism is part of Christianity, and that all Catholics are saved. In addition to Graham's support of the heretical teachings of Rome, after one is supposedly "saved," he turns them right back around and is willing to send them to Catholic churches (where they will be corrupted with heresy) or Jewish tabernacles (where they will be taught Christ was just some rebellious man), and they will not get proper teaching and edification from the Bible.

In 1961, Billy Graham was interviewed by Wilfed Bockelman of The Lutheran Standard:
"I do believe that something happens at the baptism of an infant, particularly if the parents are Christians and teach their children Christian truths from childhood. We cannot fully understand the mysteries of God. But I believe that a miracle can happen in these children so that they are regenerated, that is, made Christians through infant baptism. If you want to call that baptismal regeneration, that's all right with me."

Graham believes that infants can be saved by works via "baptismal regeneration" by having some water sprinkled on them, as is taught in Catholicism. Do you remember at the beginning when I quoted Graham and he said salvation comes by grace, and not works? This is what I meant by saying that he might preach that message, but he doesn't BELIEVE that message. This means he believes people come to Jesus Christ through another means outside of repentance and faith. 

Hers's Graham again, interviewed by Larry King:
"I would be for abortion in violent rape... I take the same stand that the pope takes, I'm against abortion, except in cases of rape..."

The first heresy we see in this statement is Billy Graham comparing his position to that of the pope, very much giving the impression that the pope's authority is valid, and implying that Graham himself has a similar position of authority, like he is "pope of the Protestants."

I do not consider myself to be a "Protestant." Being a Protestant means you have been part of the Catholic church, but have dissented in protest; thereby attempting to reform Catholicism. I am a Christian, not a Protestant nor a Catholic.

I am in no way justifying rape, but why punish the baby for the sins of the father? Why not kill the rapist instead of the baby? Billy Graham says he's okay with killing babies depending on the situation, but ignores the Bible when it comes to killing, and most of the time during this interview, Graham speaks from his own personal beliefs, rather than from the authority of Scripture.

The number of times Graham stands up in front of the world and praises the popes of Rome is astounding: "In this exclusive interview, evangelist Billy Graham hails Pope John Paul II's pilgrimage to Portland as a triumph for Christianity. Dr. Graham and other religious leaders also heap praise on the pontifffor helping to push forward the religious revival worldwide." -Quote taken from the image caption, The Star, June 26, 1979

Graham continues to praise the Roman pontiff over and over, despite the blatent abominations the Catholic church commits against the Gospel:
"Since his election, Pope John Paul II has emerged as the greatest religious leader of the modern world, and one of the greatest moral and spiritual leaders of this century... The Pope came [to America] as a statesman and a pastor, but I believe he also sees himself coming as an evangelist, forthrightly urging those who have perhaps given little thought to spiritual matters to realize the truth of the Christian message and commit their lives to Christ... The Pope sought to speak to the spiritual hunger of our age in the same way Christians throughout the centuries have spoken to the spiritual yearnings of every age—by pointing people to Christ... Also, in countless ways many evangelical Protestants and Roman Catholics are discovering they share a common bond through their mutual commitment to the Christian faith... Recently I learned that the word 'pontiff,' (a title by which the Pope is often known) comes from the Latin words which originally meant 'bridge builder.' During his visit to America, Pope John Paul II was indeed a bridge builder, and that is something our divided world desperately needs. In a world which often seems to have lost its way, his voice will continue to remind us of our responsibilities to each other—and to God."

Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

Graham also tries to soften the concept of hell, redefining it so it becomes fluffier and easier to swallow. A Florida newspaper reporter told Graham that a poll showed 45% of Americans don't believe in hell, asked Billy why he thought that was the case:
"I think that hell essentially is separation from God forever. And that is the worst hell that I can think of. But I think people have a hard time believing God is going to allow people to burn in literal fire forever. I think the fire that is mentioned in the Bible is a burning thirst for God that can never be quenched."

If hell is just "separation from God," and there is no lake of fire, and no burning as described in Luke 16:24, then many people today want to go there. So many people are into sex, drugs, drinking, loud and violent music -- they want to be separated from God, so to them, hell seems not so bad, and Satan wants the world to believe that lie.

In Billy Graham's interviews, he often starts his sentences with "I THINK," instead of starting with "the Bible says," because Graham's version of God does not come from the Bible. Graham's version of God comes from his own mind; shaping his "god" into his own image.

These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

Graham forms a 'god' out of idolatry, where he makes up a god in his imagination, one that is formed after his own preferences, and worships it instead of the true living God of the Bible. In a nutshell, he turns to the people and says, "You have a hard time accepting the Biblical God, so let me redesign him a bit so he's more comfortable for you." Graham has turned unto his own pagan god, and is leading millions to the lake of fire he doesn't believe in. 

Though CLE has not written about the Masonic cult yet, it should be noted that Billy Graham is a 33rd degree Mason, and Masons take sworn oaths to a pagan demonic god.

Frost: "Why is Isalm the fastest growing religion in the world?" Graham: "The tremendous discipline that they have in Islam in the sense that there's a judgment if you do wrong, and there's a tremendous hunt that people have that you are Islamic. Suppose you die on the battlefield fighting for Islam, the promises they give you for the first thousand years would make any young man say, 'Well, I think that's what I'd like to have.' They have so many things. And I think Islam is misunderstood too, because Mohammed had a great respect for Jesus, and he called Jesus the greatest of the prophets except himself. And I think that we're closer to Islam than we really think we are."

If any Christian reading this does not understand the level of apostasy involved in Graham's answer to David Frost, I highly recommend reading our article called "Islam: Religion of Terror." The "Jesus Christ" referred to by Muhammad is not the same as the Jesus Christ of the Bible, and "Allah" has nothing to do with the Christian God of the Bible. Billy Graham, however, is all-inclusive when it comes to salvation and heaven because, as I said at the beginning, Graham may preach in some places that Jesus is the only way, but HE DOES NOT BELIEVE IT.

"I think everybody that loves Christ, or knows Christ, whether they're conscious of it or not, they're members of the body of Christ. And that's what God is doing today; he's calling people out of the world for his name. Whether they come from the Muslim world, or the Bhuddist world, or the Christian world, or the non-believing world, they are members of the body of Christ because they've been called by God. They may not even know the name of Jesus, but they know in their heart that they need something that they don't have, and they turn to the only light that they have, and I think that they are saved and will be with us in heaven."

If you watched the video interview, you heard it directly from the horse's mouth: Billy Graham (and Robert Schuller) openly DENIED Jesus Christ!

But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Robert Schuller, after hearing Billy Graham's new-age spiritualism message, ecstatically announces: "This is fantastic! I'm so thrilled to hear you say this! There's a wideness in God's mercy!"

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Graeme Keith, chairman of the Carolinas Billy Graham Crusade Committee:
"'We have Jewish, Catholic, Protestant and other denominations represented on the committee... Our goal is to make it the finest crusade Dr. Graham has ever conducted.' Graham has even gone further afield on occasion. At his 1966 World Congress on Evangelism in Berlin, Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie, who is head of the Coptic Orthodox Church, was featured. The Coptic Church is a blend of Christianity, Judaism, animism and paganism."

When Billy Graham states that everyone will automatically make it to heaven on international television, unbelieving viewers see it and say, "Oh! I'm getting to heaven no matter what I do. I can keep lying, stealing, fornicating, drinking, etc, and God will still take me to heaven because He loves me and I'm so special." *click, changes the channel* Billy Graham is heading straight to the lake of fire, and he is dragging MILLIONS of false converts with him. 

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

So what does Billy Graham receive for all his apostate teaching? The Presidential Medal of Freedom. Ronald Reagan had this to say:
"Reverend William "Billy" Graham's untiring evangelism has spread the word of God to every corner of the globe, and made him one of the most inspirational spiritual leaders of the Twentieth Century."

Billy Graham not only hints to the pope's authority in many of his public interviews, but also submits himself to be a political agent of the Catholic Church on numerous occasions:
"I became friends with Kim Il Sung (ph) in North Korea... He was the great leader of -- against the Americans, of course, and for him to hug me and say those things, it gave me an opportunity to do some things for China and for the United States that I've been asked to do, and he received my message, and so the pope, the Vatican, asked me to do the same. I did it for them."

Does the Bible say that the kings of the earth are good men who will be converted if we are REALLYnice to them?

For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

It doesn't take much reading of mainstream news to see Billy Graham having lunch with world leaders, playing golf with politicians and military officers, and countless other activities he openly admits to doing with the kings of the earth. Should we use political correctness and public relations tactics to make friends, hang out, play golf, and go fishing with the wicked unbelieving leaders of the world?

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove [them].
-Ephesians 5:11

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

It's almost as if Billy Graham doesn't read his Bible. If he does at all, then he is blinded to the truth of the gospel, and the Bible tells us if that is the case, then Billy Graham is lost.

But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
-2 Corinthians 4:2-4

When someone says "the Gospel of Jesus Christ," it obviously consists of repentance and faith and saving grace, but there is more to it than that. It takes a lifetime to study the doctrines of Jesus Christ, and we are ALL commanded to study them and teach them to others:

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane [and] vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
-2 Timothy 2:15-16

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

That means Jesus Christ wants us to study His doctrines and understand them. We are supposed to share with people His warnings not to be deceived by men (Luk 21:8), and to watch for wolves in sheeps clothing (Mat 7:15), and to learn to judge without being a hypocrit (Mat 7:5), and to give people the law to reveal to them their guilt before a Holy and Righteous God (Gal 3:24), and these are things that Billy Graham DOES NOT BELIEVE IN DOING. If Billy was really preaching the law and repentance, he would make people feel uncomfortable and offend these world leaders because the Gospel puts all under sin and guilt of God's Law. Billy Graham instead teaches men to be comfortable with their sin, that God will love them no matter what, and all people are saved no matter what godless, unbiblical, abomination of devilish religious practice with which they are involved.

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
-Colossians 2:8

If you have a heart that grieves for Billy Graham, then I recommend that you pray to the Lord God that He would show mercy on him and give him repentance to acknowledge the truth. (2Tim 2:25) Graham still has time to step up to the plate, repent, believe on the true Gospel of Jesus, and tell the world to repent in dust and ashes. (Job 42:6) Based on the evidence above, I can only conclude that not only is Billy Graham leading millions of people into the wide gate of hell while he sits in his own riches and glory, but he himself will be joining them unless he repents and turns to the fulness of the true Biblical Gospel of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
