Peter & Mary Deny The Papal System

I write to believers and unbelievers to warn them of listening to men. I point them to the scriptures. They are the only words we can truly trust. Today I want to point this out to my Catholic friends who are in the same peril as the so called Protestant churches are. They are doing the same thing the Catholic church has for centuries. They are perverting the gospel by adding to the scriptures with man's opinions. Dear friends, you must all get in the scriptures and make your calling and election sure.

Why does Catholicism say Peter was the first Pope and why do people bow down before the Popes?
  • 24The next day, they arrived in Caesarea. Cornelius was expecting them and had called his relatives and close friends together. 25When Peter was about to enter, Cornelius met him, bowed down at his feet, and began to worship him. 26But Peter made him get up, saying, “Stand up! I, too, am only a man.” Acts 10 ISV
If Peter is just a man, what does that make the Popes?

Why does Catholicism say Mary was immaculately conceived (sinless)?

  • 46Then Mary said, “My soul praises the greatness of the Lord! 47My spirit exults in God, my SaviorLuke 1 ISV

  • By Mary's own words she needed a savior.

We see in both Peter's and Mary's own words that the Catholic church has lied to its people by adding to what God said. Friends, you are not alone. The Protestant churches are perverting the scriptures as never before. We are in the Apostasy. Do not trust in man. Trust in God and what he had written.
    • 5This is what the LORD says: “Cursed is the person who trusts in mankindwho makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from the LORD.

Are You A Believer Whose Heart Is Not Right With God?

Dear friends, the Lord sent me on a journey to discover the warnings of the New Testament. What I discovered, as a general rule, is we do not believe what is written. We believe what the teachers have taught us the scriptures mean. I have no new word to tickle your ears as the countless false teachers of our day do. You are extremely unlikely to get rich by submitting to the scriptures I present. As a matter of fact, you are likely to be betrayed,  mocked, despised and go through many trials.as the Savior and his apostles experienced.

We are in the Apostasy. This is clearly seen in the false teachers like Joel Osteen who offers you Satan's "Best Life Now" and Rick Warren who wants to join you with Islam and the other false religions. He was at meeting where he had people going to Yoga class, which leads to the Kundalini spirit possession. Both of these men have joint teaching sessions with Oprah. How can light and darkness walk together? They do not. What we see is darkness and darkness are walking together. It is a day when you can trust no man. These false teachers do not preach repentance, obedience and the blood of Jesus. You will not hear them preach the passages below.

Are you right with God? Were you told that when you believe in Jesus that is it,and you are going to heaven? Can you actually be a believer who is a "prisoner of wickedness" and be headed to hell? The scriptures clearly say yes as shown in Acts chapter 8, among other passages.

In Philippians 2 ISV, Paul even warns those who are currently obeying Christ that they can depart from the faith.
    •  12And so, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, not only when I was with you but even more now that I am absent, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. 13For it is God who is producing in you both the desire and the ability to do what pleases him. 14Do everything without complaining or arguing 15so that you may be blameless and innocent, God’s children without any faults among a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine like stars in the world 16as you hold firmly to the word of life. Then I will be proud when the Messiahi returnsj that I did not run in vain or work hard in vain.

    Acts 8 ISV

4Now those who were scattered went from place to place preaching the word. 5Philip went down to theb city of Samaria and began to preach the Messiahc to the people.d 6The crowds, hearing his messagee and seeing the signs that he was doing, paid close attention to what was said by Philip. 7Unclean spirits screamed with a loud voice as they came out of the many people they had possessed, and many paralyzed and lame people were healed. 8As a result, there was great rejoicing in that city.

9Now in that city there was a man named Simon. He was practicing occult arts and thrilling the people of Samaria, claiming to be someone great. 10Everyone from the least to the greatest paid close attention to him, saying, “This is what we callf the great power of God!” 11They paid careful attention to him because he had thrilled them for a long time with his occult performances. 12But when Philip proclaimed the good news about the kingdom of God and about the name of Jesus the Messiah,g men and women believed and were baptized. 13Even Simon believed, and after he was baptized he became devoted to Philip. He was amazed to see the signs and great miracles that were happening.

14Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaritans had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them. 15They went down and prayed for them to receive the Holy Spirit.16Before this, he had not come on any of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 17Then Peter and Johnh laid their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
18Now when Simon saw that the Spirit was given through the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money 19and said, Give me this power too, so that when I lay my hands on someone, he will receive the Holy Spirit.”

20But Peter told him, “May your money perish with you, because you thought you could obtain God’s free gift with money! 21You have no part or share in what we’re saying, because your heart isn’t right with God. 22So repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that, if possible, your heart’s intent may be forgiven you. 23For I see that you’re being poisoned by bitterness and you’re a prisoner of wickedness!

24Simon answered, “Both of you prayi to the Lord for me that none of the things you have said will happen to me.”

The sad thing is that Simon asked the apostles to pray for him, but we do not read that he repented.

James 2 ISV tells us: "19You believe that there is one God. That’s fine! Even the demons believe that and tremble with fear."

No Repentance & Obedience? No Salvation.

'We find ourselves in Acts chapter 5. The apostles were performing many miracles in Jesus' name and the religious Jewish teachers were very jealous. They took the apostles and put them in prison. At night the angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and led them out. When the Temple police went to get them, they were gone.

This passage has two doctrines the ear tickling preachers of today will not teach. The necessity of repentance  and the command to continue obeying Jesus. Friends, countless millions are being taught another gospel which is not another gospel, but sends souls to hell. We have no excuse. We have the bible, the Word of God. Trust no man with your soul.

Have you repented (turned) from your sin and are continuing to obey what Jesus and his apostles taught? Or have you been taught that grace covers unrepentance, disobedience and rebellion? If you have and are living that way, you are in danger of hell fire if you die in that condition  The scriptures never tell us grace covers sin. The false teachers are perverting grace and tickling your ears. Many, many are getting rich that way. While you live in rebellion to the truth, they tell you that you are under grace.

Many will hear Jesus say I never knew you. "1“Not everyone who keeps saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will get into the kingdom fromd heaven, but only the person who keeps doing the will of my Father in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, we prophesied in your name, drove out demons in your name, and performed many miracles in your name, didn’t we?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who practice evil!’”e Matthew 7 ISV

Please repent and continue to obey what Jesus and the apostles said. Life is a vapor. Please do not sacrifice eternal life for pleasures in a vapor. Jesus is true life and the source of every good thing.

    Acts 5 ISV
25Then someone came and told them, “Look! The men you put in prison are standing in the Temple and teaching the people!” 26So the commander of the Temple guards went with his men to bring them back without force, because they were afraid of being stoned to death by the people. 27When they brought them back, they made them stand before the Council,l and the high priest began to question them. 28He said, “We gave you strict orders not to teach in his name, didn’t we? Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to bring this man’s blood on us!”

29But Peter and the apostles answered,
    • We must obey God rather than men!
    • 30The God of our ancestors raised Jesus to life after you killed him by hanging him on a tree.
    • 31God has exalted to his right hand this very man as our Leader and Savior
    • in order to extend repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel.
    • 32We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit,
    • whom God has given to those who keep on obeying him.

Lawlessness Is Here! What About Your Soul?

Are you listening to the ear tickling preachers of our day or are you spending time in the New Testament, discovering what Jesus and his apostles said for us to do and not do? Do you know the scriptures? If you do not, you are already deceived in many areas. Jesus has warned us in advance See to it that no one deceives you". You should not be getting your doctrines from a man, especially the teachers of this generation. We have the bible, the Word of God.

We are to assemble with other believers, but if we do not know the scriptures we will not know if the other believers are telling the truth. This is about our souls and our eternal destiny. First and foremost you must repent of your sin and follow Jesus, doing what he said to do. Protect your eyes and ears from the world's TV, music, magazines, etc. Get into the scriptures and obey God. He will guide you if you if you are humbly sincere.

Times of great trouble are coming. If you do not know what the scriptures teach, how will you be able to be obedient to God? How will you be able to "endure to the end and be saved" as Jesus says in verse 14? If you think saying a sinners prayer and going on with your life as you choose will save you, you do not know the scriptures and are deceived. I say this with great love for you. True love warns. You are the reason I write my blog. It is focused on the Word of God. Trust only the scriptures. Not a man.

    Matthew 24 ISV
3While Jesusb was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things take place, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
    • 4Jesus answered them, See to it that no one deceives you, 5because many will come in my name and say, ‘I’m the Messiah,’c and they will deceive many people. 6You’ll hear of wars and rumors of wars. See to it that you aren’t alarmed. These things must take place, but the end hasn’t come yet, 7because nation will rise up in arms against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8But all these things are only the beginning of the birth pains.”
    • 9“Then they’ll hand you over to sufferd and will kill you, and you’ll be hated by all the nationse because of my name. 10Then many people will fall away, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11Many false prophets will appear and deceive many people12and because lawlessness will increase, the love of many people will grow cold. 13But the person who endures to the end will be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the world as a testimony to all nations,f and then the end will come.”

Jesus Is The Only One Who Can Take Away Sin

Peter and John had just healed a crippled man. The Temple guards and Sadducees were upset they were teaching that Jesus had been resurrected from the dead. Please note verse 12. There is no salvation by anyone else than Jesus. Not Mary his earthly mother who called the baby in her womb "my savior", not Buddha, not the Pope, not the priests, not Allah,  not Hindu gods, etc.

Jesus is the Son of God who became human. He created everything. The Holy Spirit of God came upon Mary. She supplied the egg for his human body. She was a sinner, but the blood in his veins was not from Adam or Mary. It was from God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

    • 23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. 28Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. 29Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: 30Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.Romans 3 ISV

    Acts 4 ISV

1While they were speaking to the people, the priests, the commander of the Temple guards, and the Sadducees came to them. 2They were greatly disturbed that Peter and Johna were teaching the people and announcing that Jesus had been resurrectedb from the dead3So they arrested them and placed them in custody until the next day, since it was already evening. 4But many of those who heard their message believed, and the men grew to number about 5,000.

5The next day, their rulers, elders, and scribes met in Jerusalem 6with Annas the high priest, Caiaphas, John,c Alexander, and the rest of the high priest’s family. 7They made Peter and Johnd stand in front of them and began asking, “By what power or by what name did you do this?”

8Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, told them, “Rulers and elders of the people! 9If we are being questioned today for a good deed done for someone who was sick or to learn how this man was healed,10you and all the people of Israel must understand that this man stands healthy before you because of the name of Jesus from Nazareth, whom you crucified, but whom God raised from the dead.11He is
‘the stone that was rejected by you builders,
    which has become the cornerstone.’e
12There is no salvation by anyone else, for there is no other name under heaven given among people by which we must be saved.

Every Person Who Will Not Listen To Jesus Will Be Destroyed

In the following passage we find Peter who had just healed a crippled man telling the Jews they crucified the Son of God and that God sent Jesus to turn people from their evil ways. If we do not turn/repent, we will be destroyed as Jesus is the only one who can forgive sin and the only way to the Father and kingdom of God.

You will note that Peter gave all the glory to God and none to himself. Peter is not the rock that the church has been built on. Jesus is. Every man is a sinner. Rome and the Popes have no authority over us. They are sinners as all men are. Turn your back on pagan Rome and go to Jesus. Only he saves. Jesus said:

    • 28“Come to me, all of you who are weary and loaded down with burdens, and I will give you rest. 29Place my yoke on you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble,n and you will find rest for your souls,o 30because my yoke is pleasant,p and my burden is light.” Matthew 11 ISV
    • Paul said, "8For by such grace you have been saved through faith. This does not come from you; it is the gift of God 9and not the result of actions (works), to put a stop to all boasting.i"

    Acts 3 ISV

17“And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance like your leaders. 18This is how God fulfilled what he had predicted through the voice of all the prophets—that his Messiahh would suffer.
    • 19Therefore, repent and turn to him to have your sins blotted out20so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord and so that he may send you Jesus, whom he appointed long ago to be the Messiah.i
21He must remain in heaven until the time of universal restitution, which God announced long ago through the voice of his holy prophets. 22In fact, Moses said,
    • ‘The Lordj your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers. You must listen to everything he tells you.k 23Any person who will not listen to that prophet will be utterly destroyed from among the people.’l

24“Indeed, all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and those who followed him, also announced these days. 25You are the descendants of the prophets and the heirsm of the covenant that God made with yourn ancestors when he told Abraham, ‘Through your descendanto all the families of the earth will be blessed.’p
    • 26When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning every one of you from your evil ways.”

The Church - Going Back To The Beginning.

On the day of Pentecost, Peter addressed the crowd after the Holy Spirit came upon the believers..
    Please note the following:

    1. Verse 38 - You must repent/turn away from your sins. We are in the Apostasy and this critical point is being ignored. A person who repents is to be baptized in water. Then they will receive the Holy Spirit as a gift. There is no "speaking in tongues" required. Speaking in tongues is a gift. Some receive it when they believe, some do not ever receive it and some will later in life.
    2. Verse 42 - The first thing the believers did was to devote themselves to is the apostles teachings. Today's teachers are giving their own opinions, (writing books, etc.). Stay in the scriptures and trust no man!
    3. Verse 46 - The believers went to the Temple. This is very important. Catholicism teaches the Catholic church was at the beginning, but actually the believers went to the Temple where the Jews went. They also rob Jesus from being the Rock and say it was Peter, but Paul says. "After all, no one can lay any other foundation than the one that is already laid, and that is Jesus the Messiah". 1 Corinthians 3:11.
     Acts 2 ISV
36“Therefore, let all the peoplex of Israel understand beyond a doubt that God made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah!”y

37When the crowd that had gatheredz heard this, they were pierced to the heart. They asked Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?”
    • 38Peter answered them, Every one of you must repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus the Messiahaa for the forgiveness of your sins.
    • Then you will receive the Holy Spirit as a gift.bb 39For this promise belongs to you and your children, as well as to all those who are distant, whom the Lord our God may call to himself.”

40Using many different expressions, Petercc continued to testify and to plead: “Be saved,” he urged them, “from this corrupt generation!” 41So those who welcomed his message were baptized. That day about 3,000 people were added to their number.

42The believersdd continued to devote themselves to
    • what the apostles were teaching,
    • to fellowship,
    • to the breaking of bread,
    • and to times of prayer.ee
    • 43A sense of fearff came over everyone,
    • and many wonders and signs were being done by the apostles.
44All the believers were united and shared everything with one another.gg 45They made it their practice to sell their possessions and goods and to distribute the proceedshh to anyone who was in need. 46United in purpose, they
    • went to the Temple every day,
    • ate at each other’s homes,
    • and shared their food with glad and humble hearts.
47They were praising God and enjoying the good will of all the people. Every day the Lord was adding to their number those who were being saved.
