As the deer pants for the water brooks, So my soul pants for You, O God.
Psalm 42:1 A song of the sons of Korah.

God Warns. Sin Will Destroy You. Repent While There Is Time.
Oh where, oh where have the warnings gone
Oh where, oh where can they be?
How can so many teachers be silent
Are they simply unable to see?
How can they preach and tickle the ears
And not warn sinners to flee?
What will the teachers hear on that day
Will they be told depart from me?
Brothers and sisters, Peter warns us. God warns us. Do not look to man. Countless teachers are tickling the ears of their hearers. Why? Mostly, the fault lies with the hearers as they raise up such teachers. Just look at Joel Osteen, the poster child for "make them feel good on their way to hell".
2 Peter 3 ISV

Be Ready for the Day of the Lord
1Dear friends, this is now the second of two lettersa I am writing to you, in which I have been trying to stimulate your pure minds by reminding you 2to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the commandment of our Lord and Savior spokenb through your apostles.
3First of all you must understand this: In the last days mockers will come and, following their own desires, will ridicule usc 4by saying, “What happened to the Messiah’sd promise to return? Ever since our ancestors died,e everything continues as it did from the beginning of creation.” 5But they deliberately ignore the fact that long ago the heavens existed and the earth was formed by God’s word out of water and with water, 6by which the world at that time was deluged with water and destroyed. 7Now by that same word, the present heavens and earth have been reserved for fire and are being kept for the day when ungodly people will be judged and destroyed.
8Don’t forget this fact, dear friends: With the Lord a single day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a single day. 9The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some people understand slowness, but is being patient with you. He does not want anyone to perish, but wantsf everyone to repent. 10But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief. On that dayg the heavens will disappear with a roaring sound, the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done on it will be exposed.
11Since everything will be destroyed in this way, think of the kind of holy and godly people you ought to be 12as you look forward to and hasten the coming of the day of God, when the heavens will be set ablaze and dissolved and the elements will melt with fire. 13But in keeping with his promise, we are looking forward to new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness is at home.
14So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to have the Lordh find you at peace and without spot or fault. 15Think of our Lord’s patience as facilitating salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him. 16He speaks about this subject in all his letters. Some things in them are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, leading to their own destruction, as they do the rest of the Scriptures.
17And so, dear friends, since you already know these things, continuously be on your guard not to be carried away by the deception of lawless people. Otherwise, you mayi fall from your secure position. 18Instead, continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus, the Messiah.j Glory belongs to him both now and on that eternal day! Amen.k

A Person Is A Slave To Whatever Conquers Him. Have You Submitted To The Savior?
Peter is warning us about false teachers who are concerned about their own lusts. Peter ties this in to the angels who fell and specifically those who lusted after and married human women.
"The Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials". Hallelujah!!
2 Peter 2 ISV
"The Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials". Hallelujah!!
2 Peter 2 ISV
1Now there were false prophets among the people, just as there also will be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2Many people will follow their immoral ways, and because of them the way of truth will be maligned.a 3In their greed they will exploit you with deceptive words. The ancient verdict against them is still in force, and their destruction is not delayed.b
4For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but threw them into the lowest hellc and imprisoned them in chainsd of deepest darkness, holding them for judgment; 5and if he did not spare the ancient world but protected Noah, a righteous preacher, along with seven others when he brought the flood on the world of ungodly people; 6and if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and destroyed them by burning them to ashes, making them an example to ungodly people of what is going to happen to them; 7and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man who was greatly distressed by the immoral conduct of lawless people— 8for as long as that righteous man lived among them, day after day he was being tortured in his righteous soul by what he saw and heard in their lawless actions— 9then the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials and to hold unrighteous people for punishment on the day of judgment, 10especially those who satisfy their flesh by indulging in its passions and who despise authority.
Being bold and arrogant, they are not afraid to slander glorious beings. 11Yet even angels, although they are greater in strength and power, do not bring a slanderous accusation against them from the Lord. 12These people, like irrational animals, are mere creatures of instinct that are born to be caught and killed. They insult what they don’t understand, and like animals they, too, will be destroyed,13suffering harm as punishment for their wrongdoing. They take pleasure in wild parties in broad daylight. They are stains and blemishes, reveling in their deceitful pleasurese while they eat with you.14With eyes full of adultery, they cannot get enough of sin. They seduce unsteady souls and have had their hearts expertly trained in greed. They are doomed to a curse.f 15They have left the straight path and wandered off to follow the path of Bosor’sg son Balaam, who loved the reward he got for doing wrong. 16But he was rebuked for his offense. A donkey that normally cannot talk spoke with a human voice and restrained the prophet’s insanity.
17These men are dried-up springs, mere clouds driven by a storm. Gloomy darkness is reserved for them. 18By talking high-sounding nonsense and using sinful cravings of the flesh, they entice people who have just escaped from those who live in error. 19Promising them freedom, they themselves are slaves to depravity, for a person is a slave to whatever conquers him.
20For if, after escaping the world’s corruptions through a full knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus, the Messiah,h they are again entangled and conquered by those corruptions,i then their last condition is worse than their former one. 21It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than to know it and turn their backs on the holy commandment that was committed to them. 22The proverb is true that describes what has happened to them: “A dog returns to its vomit,”j and “A pig that is washed goes back to wallow in the mud.”k

False Teachers Are Seeking You Out
Brothers and sisters, Peter makes it clear that Jesus was clearly shown to be the Messiah. Peter will move into what we call chapter 2 and warn us about false prophets which are not new. They deceived in the time of the Old Testament and they are with us today. Next, Peter will discuss the fallen angels who left their estate and married human women. These sexual perversions brought the judgment of God upon the whole earth, as it will again in the future. In our day, we are seeing a repeating pattern of the days of Noah and the days of Lot. This was foretold by Jesus, the Messiah.
2 Peter 1 ISV
16When we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah,i we did not follow any clever myths. Rather,
1Now there were false prophets among the people, just as there also will be false teachers among you,
2 Peter 1 ISV
16When we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah,i we did not follow any clever myths. Rather,
- we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17For he received honor and glory from God the Father when these words from the Majestic Glory were spoken about him: “This is my Son, whom I love. I am pleased with him.”
- 18We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the holy mountain.
- 19Therefore we regard the message of the prophets as confirmed beyond doubt, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp that is shining in a gloomy place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
- 20First of all, you must understand this: No prophecy in Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation,
- 21because no prophecy ever originated through a human decision. Instead, men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
1Now there were false prophets among the people, just as there also will be false teachers among you,
- who will secretly introduce destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction on themselves.
- 2Many people will follow their immoral ways, and because of them the way of truth will be maligned.a
- 3In their greed they will exploit you with deceptive words. The ancient verdict against them is still in force, and their destruction is not delayed.b

Making Our Calling And Election Sure
Brothers and sisters, as we look at the warnings in the New Testament, we find one of the most serious warnings in 2 Peter 1. I believe I was sent on a journey to seek out the warnings and not to look to man for what they mean. I have simply chosen to believe what is written, not what the teachers taught me God meant!
I do not believe that we are told to "make your calling and elections certain" if we cannot do that. This is a very serious warning as this is addressed to "those who have received faith". It appears to me to be a theme in the New Testament that we are to finish the race.
Man tries to make up his religious system and figure out God, but surely we can believe what he says, even when it appears to contradict other passages.
I believe God, and let stand what appear as apposing passages. The following are an example of this. I do not trust man. I have been deceived by each "denomination" and look to the Lord.
2 Peter 1 ISV

2 Peter 1 ISV
To: Those who have received faith that is as valuable as ours through the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus the Messiah.e
2May grace and peace be yours in abundance through full knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord!
3His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the full knowledge of the one who called us by his own glory and excellence.
- 4Through these he has given us his precious and wonderful promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, seeing that you have escaped the corruption that is in the world caused by evil desires.
- 5For this very reason, you must make every effort to supplement your faith with moral character, your moral character with knowledge, 6your knowledge with self-control, your self-control with endurance, your endurance with godliness, 7your godliness with brotherly kindness, and your brotherly kindness with love.
- 8For if you possess these qualities, and if they continue to increase among you, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in attaining a full knowledge of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah.f
- 9For the person who lacks these qualities is blind and shortsighted, and has forgotten the cleansing that he has received from his past sins.
10So then, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election certain, for if you keep on doing this you will never fail. 11For in this way you will be generously granted entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus, the Messiah.g
- I intend to keep on reminding you about these things, even though you already know them and are firmly established in the truth that you now have.
- 13Yet I think it is right to refresh your memory as long as I am living in this bodily tent,
- 14because I know that the removal of my bodily tent will come soon, as indeed our Lord Jesus, the Messiah,h has shown me.
- 15And I will make every effort to see that you will always remember these things after I am gone.
Why is Peter so concerned about what he has warned them about? HE KNOWS THIS IS VERY SERIOUS. Brothers and sisters, when was the last time your pastor warned you of this? Has he ever? I am not condemning all pastors as ear ticklers, but YOU must get into the scriptures and take the warnings seriously. Even the most Godly pastors cannot warn you like the scriptures do! They do not have time. This is about our souls. All warnings in the scriptures are from the Love of God. I have broken many warnings and do not like the price, yet God works all things together for good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose!

A Catholic Man Tells Of Being Shown The Tribulation
This is one of the most precious stories I have seen on video. Brothers and sisters, so many of us have been misled about God. Some of us need to be born from above and others need to seek the Holy Spirit to fill them with power. It appears very likely that we will see the antichrist, the man of sin.
- 1Now we ask you, brothers, regarding the coming of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah,a and our gathering together to him, 2not to be so quickly upsetb or alarmed when someone claims that we said, ceither by some spirit, conversation, or letter that the Day of the Lord has already come. 3Do not let anyone deceive you in any way, for it will not come unless the rebellion takes place first and the man of sin, who is destined for destruction, is revealed. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 ISV
I was extremely blessed to grow up in a Christian home where my parents truly loved God, each other and their six children. Still, I was born without God and it would take time for the work He started in me at six years of age. It would take many years. That work is still going on. As the man on this video, we too were mis-taught many things. The blog you are reading this on is the result of the Lord leading me to seek out the warnings and teachings of the New Testament scriptures. Most Christians have never seen them in the simple light of the scriptures. Like my own family, they have only had the teachers ignore or explain them away. Beware of man's opinions. Do not trust in man.
This is so worth watching!!!
"Ken Peters had dreams about end-time and tribulation in 1980. His dream greatly disturbed him, as he had no biblical knowledge of end times, the second coming of Christ or Tribulation. A few weeks after the dream, he accepted Jesus as his savior."
True Christians Are To Submit To One Another
Today we finish the book of 1 Peter. Peter tells us that he wrote "the short letter" of 1 Peter "to testify that this is to be the true grace of God in which you are to stand firm!" Christians are to clothe themselves with humility and submit to one another, not lord over each other.
1 Peter 5 ISV
1 Peter 5 ISV
1Therefore, as a fellow elder, a witness of the Messiah’sa sufferings, and one who shares in the glory to be revealed, I appeal to the elders among you: 2Be shepherds of God’s flock that is among you, watching over it, not because you must but because you want to, and not greedily but eagerly, as God desires.
3Do not lord it over the people entrusted to you, but be examples to the flock.4Then, when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the victor’s crown of glory that will never fade away.
5In a similar way, you young people must submit to the elders.b All of you must clothe yourselves with humility for the sake of each other, because:
“God opposes the arrogant,
but gives grace to the humble.”c
6Therefore,
- humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that at the proper time he may exalt you.
- 7Throw all your worry on him, because he cares for you.
- 8Be clear-minded and alert. Your opponent, the devil, is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
- 9Resist him and be firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.
- 10After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you by the Messiahd Jesuse to his eternal glory, will restore you, establish you, strengthen you, and support you. 11Power belongsf to him forever and ever! Amen.
12Through Silvanus, whom I regard as a faithful brother, I have written this short letter to encourage you and to testify that this is to be the true grace of God in which you are to stand firm! 13Your sister churchg in Babylon, chosen along with you, sends you greetings, as does Mark, whom I regard as a son. 14Greet one another with a loving kiss. Peace be to all of you who are in the Messiah!h
