Do You Know The Warnings In The New Testament?

Brothers and sisters, I feel compelled to once again make it clear that I write about and show the warnings of the New Testament for both myself and those who I care about. If you read this, you are one. Several years ago the Lord told me to read the Gospels until he told me to quite. For several years I focused on the Gospels, then periodically I would continue on in the rest of the books in the New Testament. During this time I would highlight the warnings. I did this over and over. I was blown away at how many warnings there really are! I would warn people and give the gospel as I went across this country and abroad.

In the past couple of years I have been posting the warnings in the New Testament on my blog. I am concerned there is very limited time to do this. The rising of the New World Order will have a profound impact on religious freedom. In the US, I understand we have about 25% true unemployment. Countless homes that were foreclosed on, are off the books. The dollar is purposefully being destroyed. The scriptures tell us they will have a world government. For the most part it is ready to be revealed. Remember this. If a man, angel or so called alien comes teaching another gospel which is contrary to the Word of God, let him be accursed. He is a liar. Do you know your bible well enough to defend the truth. If not, get ready! The liar is on his way, if not here already.

In the uncertain times that are here and those coming, the only thing you can truly trust in is the Lord Jesus Christ. He created us. When Adam sinned and fell, death fell on all of us. Jesus took the wrath that is due us because we have all sinned. He paid for sin on the cross. If we ask him to forgive us and follow him, we will be given a new nature that changes us from the inside out. Please spend time in the New Testament especially. Spend time in prayer with the Father who sent Jesus to go to the cross. Jesus was part of that plan and willing to pay the price for our sin. .

Fear is here and more fear is coming on our land. Jesus said for us to seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and everything you need will be provided.

This passage is filled with love and warnings. Would not even you and I warn if we loved someone and they needed to know of a danger they were unaware of? Jesus is the very source of true love. Jesus warns. He does not want anyone to perish.

Matthew 6 ISV
19Stop storing up treasures for yourselves on earth, where moths and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. 20But keep on storing up treasures for yourselves in heaven, where moths and rust do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal, 21because where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

22“The eye is the lamp of the body. So if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light. 23But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. Therefore, if the light within you has turned into darkness, how great is that darkness!”

24No one can serve two masters, because either he will hate one and love the other, or be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and riches!”n

25“That’s why I’m telling you to stop worrying about your life—what you will eat or what you will drinko —or about your body—what you will wear. Life is more than food, isn’t it, and the body more than clothing? 26Look at the birds in the sky. They don’t plant or harvest or gather food into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. You are more valuable than they are, aren’t you? 27Can any of you add a single hour to the length of your lifep by worrying? 28And why do you worry about clothes? Consider the lilies in the field and how they grow. They don’t work or spin yarn, 29but I tell you that not even Solomon in all of his splendor was clothed like one of them. 30Now if that is the way God clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and thrown into an oven tomorrow, won’t he clothe you much better—you who have little faith?

31So don’t ever worry by saying,What are we going to eat?’ or ‘What are we going to drink?’ or ‘What are we going to wear?’ 32because it is the unbelieversq who are eager for all those things. Surely your heavenly Father knows that you need all of them! 33But first be concerned about God’s kingdom and his righteousness,r and all of these things will be provided for you as well. 34So never worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

We Are All Sowing. Some Will Harvest Decay. Some Will Harvest Eternal Life.

Today we find ourselves at the end of Paul's warning to the Galatians. There is a famine of hearing the Word of God in our day. The warnings from God are rarely heard. Teachers have moved away from God and think they have a better way. They teach their own doctrines. Just tune into Joel Osteen who heads the largest "church" in the nation and you will see this clearly. He is a poster child for tickling ears and teaches doctrines of demons. Unless he repents, he will have blood on his hands from deceiving countless thousands.

Friends, today is the day of salvation. We must turn from our sins and follow Jesus the Messiah. If you are not living this, today I plead with you to repent and be reconciled to God. Please do not trade eternal things for things that exist only in a vapor.

Galatians 6 ISV
1Brothers, if a person is caught doing something wrong, those of you who are spiritual should restore that person gently.
  • Watch out for yourself so that you are not tempted as well.
  • 2Practice carrying each other’s burdens. In this way you will fulfill the law of the Messiah.a
  • 3For if anyone thinks he is something when he is really nothing, he is only fooling himself.
  • 4Each person must examine his own actions, and then he can boast about his own accomplishments and not about someone else. 5For everyone must carry his own load.
  • 6The person who is taught the word should share all his goods with his teacher.
7Stop beingb deceived; God is not to be ridiculed. A person harvests whatever he plants
  • 8The person who sows through human means will harvest decay from human means
  • but the person who sows in the Spirit will harvest eternal life from the Spirit.
  • 9Let’s not get tired of doing what is good, for at the right time we will reap a harvest—if we do not give up.
  • 10So then, whenever we have the opportunity, let’s practice doing good to everyone, especially to the family of faith.
11Look at how large these letters are because I am writing with my own hand! 12These people who want to impress others by their external appearancec are trying to force you to be circumcised, simply to avoid being persecuted for the cross of the Messiah.d 13Why, not even those who are circumcised obey the Law! They simply want you to be circumcised so that they can boast about your external appearance.e

  • 14But may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah,f by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world15For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision matters.
  • Rather, what matters is beingg a new creation
  • 16Now may peace be on all those who live by this principle
  • and may mercy be on the Israel of God.
17Let no one make any more trouble for me, because I carry the scars of Jesus on my own body.

Are You Practicing Sin That Will Keep You Out Of The Kingdom Of God?

Paul continues to rebuke and warn the Galatians that they must stand firm in the freedom from the Law which Jesus purchased on the cross. Brothers and sisters, countless teachers teach that once you have believed in Christ that is it. You are saved forever. Paul does not teach this.

We see below the seriousness of mixing works with what Jesus accomplished on the cross. Paul also warns of sins that can separate us from God. Jesus does also, even in the Revelation. Scattered through my blog posts is the warning that we must finish the race. You will not hear this from the spineless false teachers who tickle your ears. Brothers and sisters, is it worth getting to know the scriptures when our very souls are at stake? Seek out the warnings from Jesus and his disciples. It will change your life. Remember, the wages of sin is death.

Paul warns that we can even destroy one another.

Galatians 5 ISV
1The Messiaha has set us free so that we may enjoy the benefits of freedom.b So keep on standing firm in it, and stop putting yourselves under the yoke of slavery again.
  • 2Listen! I, Paul, am telling you that if you allow yourselves to be circumcised, the Messiahc will be of no benefit to you
  • 3Again, I insistd that everyone who allows himself to be circumcised is obligated to obey the entire Law.
  • 4Those of you who are trying to be justified by the Law have been cut off from the Messiah.e You have fallen away from grace.
5Through the Spirit by faith we confidently await the fulfillment of our righteous hope, 6for in union with the Messiahf Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision matters. What matters is faithgexpressed through love.

7You were running the race beautifully. Who cut in on you and stopped you from obeying the truth? 8Such influence does not come from the one who calls you

  • 9A little yeast spreads through the whole batch of dough. 10I am confidenth in the Lord that you will take no other view of this. However, the one who is troubling you will suffer God’si judgment, whoever he is.
  • 11As for me, brothers, if I am still preaching the necessity ofj circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been removed. 12I wish that those who are upsetting you would castrate themselves!
13For you, brothers, were called to freedom.
  • Only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity to gratify your flesh,
  • but through love make it your habit to serve one another.
  • 14For the whole Law is summarized in a single statement: “You must love your neighbor as yourself.”k
  • 15But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you are not destroyed by each other.
  • 16So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will never fulfill the desires of the flesh. 17For what the flesh wants is opposed to the Spirit, and what the Spirit wants is opposed to the flesh
  • They are opposed to each other, and so you do not do what you want to do18But if you are being led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law.
19Now the actions of the flesh are obvious:
  • sexual immorality,
  • impurity,
  • promiscuity,
  • 20idolatry,
  • witchcraft,l
  • hatred,
  • rivalry,
  • jealously,
  • outbursts of anger,
  • quarrels,
  • conflicts,
  • factions,
  • 21envy,
  • murder,m
  • drunkenness,
  • wild partying, and things like that.
I am telling you now, as I have told you in the past, that people who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

  • 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,n 23gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things.
  • 24Now those who belong to the Messiaho Jesus have crucified their flesh with its passions and desires.
  • 25Since we live by the Spirit, by the Spirit let us also be guided. 26Let’s stop being arrogant, provoking one another and envying one another.

Jesus Christ Alone Is The Way To God. Jesus Is God.

Continuing in Galatians we see Paul in much travail as many of the Galatians were listening to false teachers. They were were leading them into false teachings that they were to keep the Law for salvation. Paul gives an example of how an heir is no better than a slave until his father gives the inheritance to him. If we are a child of God through faith, we are also an heir because of what God did. He sent his Son to pay for sin.

The reason Paul wrote to the Galatians is they were falling away. They were leaving the truth and turning back to "powerless and bankrupt basic principles".

Brothers and sisters, God hates the mixing of good and evil. The Galatians were mixing the keeping the Law and salvation through Christ. This is very evil as it means the death of the Son of God and his taking the wrath of God for sin, is not enough.

Are you "mixing" by continuing to live a life of sin and counting on grace? Are you counting on your good works and Jesus sacrifice? Neither grace or good works will save you. We are to place our faith in ONLY what Jesus did on the cross and to stop sinning. If we sin we are to confess it and turn from it.

  • 1 John 1 tells us "5This is the message that we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light, and in him there is no darkness—none at all! 6If we claim that we have fellowship with him but keep living in darkness, we are lying and not practicing the truth. 7But if we keep living in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. 8If we say that we do not have any sin, we are deceiving ourselves and we’re not being truthful to ourselves. 9If we make it our habit to confess our sins, in his faithful righteousness he forgives us for those sins and cleanses us from all unrighteousness. 10If we say that we have never sinned, we make him a liar and his word has no place in us.

In verse 8 below, Paul speaks to us that "in the past, when we did not know Godwe were slaves to things that are not really gods at all".

We are to make our calling and election sure. Today is the day of salvation. Repent of sin and follow Christ.

Galatians 4 ISV
1Now what I am saying is this: As long as an heir is a child, he is no better off than a slave, even though he owns everything. 2Instead, he is placed under the care ofa guardians and servant managers until the time set by the father.

3It was the same way with us. While we were children, we were slaves to the basic principles of the world.b 4But when the appropriate time had come, God sent his Son, born by a woman, born under the Law, 5in order to redeem those who were under the Law, and thus to adopt them as his children. 6Now because you are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into ourc hearts to cry out, “Abba!d Father!” 7So you are no longer a slave but a child, and if you are a child, then you are also an heir because of what God did.

8However, in the past, when you did not know God, you were slaves to things that are not really gods at all.e
  • 9But now that you know God,
  • or rather have been known by God,
  • how can you turn back again to those powerless and bankrupt basic principles?f
  • Why do you want to become their slaves all over again?
  • 10You are observing days, months, seasons, and years.
  • 11I am afraid for you!
  • I don’t want my work for you to haveg been wasted!

12I beg you, brothers, to become like me, since I became like you. You did not do anything wrong to me. 13You know that it was because I was illh that I brought you the gospel the first time.

Salvation Is The Result Of Being Justified By Faith, Not By Keeping The Law

Brothers and sisters, today we start looking at the warnings in Galatians. We gentiles are justified/saved from our sin in the same way the Jews are saved from sin. By believing in Messiah Jesus. We are all "justified by the faithfulness of the Messiah and not by doing what the Law requires, for no human being will be justified by doing what the Law requires".

If we are saved by faith (by the faithfulness of Messiah), we should not try to rebuild  the Law as we died to the Law so that we might live for God. We have been crucified with the Messiah. We "no longer live, but the Messiah lives in us, and the life we now live in our bodies we live by the faithfulness of the Son of God, who loved us and gave himself for us".

Are we truly living a new life by the faithfulness of the Son of God, or are we living our life for ourselves? Please read these scriptures slowly. The are very serious. We should judge ourselves and if we find we are not doing as we should, we must repent and start obeying what Jesus and his disciples wrote we are to do. Do not continue to practice sin and trample the blood of Jesus under your feet. Paul warned us,

  • "1What should we say, then? Should we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2Of course not! How can we who died as far as sin is concerned go on living in it?" Romans 6 ISV

Galatians 2 ISV
15We ourselves are Jews by birth, and not gentile sinners, 16yet we know that a person is not justified by doing what the Law requires,l but rather by the faithfulness of Jesusm the Messiah.n

  • We, too, have believed in the Messiaho Jesus so that we might be justified by the faithfulness ofp the Messiahq and not by doing what the Law requires,
  • for no human beingr will be justified by doing what the Law requires.
17Now if we, while trying to be justified by the Messiah,s have been found to be sinners, does that mean that the Messiaht is serving the interests of sin?

  • Of course not!
  • 18For if I rebuild something that I tore down, I demonstrate that I am a wrongdoer.
  • 19For through the Law I died to the Law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with the Messiah.u
20I no longer live

  • but the Messiahv lives in me,
  • and the life that I am now living in this body I live by the faithfulness of the Son of God,w who loved me and gave himself for me.
21I do not misapply God’s grace, for if righteousness comes about by doing what the Law requires, then the Messiahx died for nothing.

Believers In Christ Who Are Without Christ

Are you a believer who has continued practicing sin? Are you aware the Apostle Paul writes to believers and warns them of failing the test and God not being with them? In our day of ear tickling preachers you will likely never hear this. They will tell you you are under grace. Brothers and sisters, grace does not cover sin. If you are practicing sin Paul warns that you "formerly lived in sin" and have not repented.

Are you trampling under your feet the blood of Christ? Grace does not cover sin. It took the blood of Jesus and him taking the wrath of God for sin! If you have believed in Christ you must repent of sin and continue in the faith and maturity! Are you living in sin and professing to be a believer? James has a word for you:
  • James tells us "19You believe that there is one God. That’s fine! Even the demons believe that and tremble with fear." James 2 ISV
2 Corinthians 12 ISV Paul tells us,
19Have you been thinking all along that we are trying to defend ourselves before you? We are speaking before God in the authority ofg the Messiah,h and everything, dear friends, is meant to build you up. 20I am afraid that I may come and somehow find you not as I want to find you, and that you may find me not as you want to find me.
  • Perhaps there will be quarreling, jealousy, anger, selfishness, slander, gossip, arrogance, and disorderly conduct. 21I am afraid that when I come my God may again humble me before you and that I may have to grieve over many who formerly lived in sin and have not repented of their impurity, sexual immorality, and promiscuity that they once practiced.
Continuing into chapter 13

2 Corinthians 13 ISV
1This will be the third time I am coming to you. “Every accusation must be verified by two or three witnesses.”a 2I have already warned those who sinned previously and all the rest. Although I am absent now, I am warning them as I did on my second visit: If I come back, I will not spare you3since you want proof that the Messiahb is speaking through me. He is not weak in dealing with you but is making his power felt among you. 4Though he was crucified in weakness, he lives by God’s power. We are weak with him, but by God’s power we will live for you.

5Keep examining yourselves to see whether you are continuing in the faith. Test yourselves! You know, don’t you, that Jesus the Messiahc lives in you? Could it be that you are failing the test? 6I hope you will realize that we haven’t failed our test. 7We pray to God that you will not do anything wrong—not to show that we have not failed the test, but so that you may do what is right, even if we seem to have failed. 8For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth. 9We are glad when we are weak and you are strong. That is what we are praying for—your maturity.
10For this reason I am writing this while I am away from you: When I come I do not want to be severe in using the authority the Lord gave me to build you up and not to tear you down.

11Finally, brothers, goodbye. Keep on growing to maturity. Keep listening to my appeals. Continue agreeing with each other and living in peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.
