Prayer Power is REAL
The power of prayer to God (and only God) is ever-real for the righteous! Throughout Scripture we are encouraged, even commanded, to pray for healing and miracles and not to give up (Lk. 18:1). 
Since our battle is really a spiritual one, we must FIGHT with spiritual weapons or we'll suffer defeat after defeat! The power of prayer is one of these spiritual weapons. In Col. 4:2 we read, "DEVOTE yourselves to prayer." (The future will be better for you and your loved ones, if you DEVOTE YOURSELF TO PRAYER. Remember, PRAYER CHANGES THINGS. The power of prayer is nothing short of miraculous!)The devil will attack us with doubt when we pray. To help in this battle against doubt, look up the following references and notice how one, lone person praying changed the circumstances! (Your faith will grow as you ponder these Scriptures.)
Power of Prayer Scriptures For Just One Person
Abraham prayed for Abimelech, his wife and slave girls and they were able to have children again (Gen. 20:17,18).
Abraham's servant prayed and found a wife for Isaac (Gen. 24:12-15).
Isaac prayed for his barren wife, Rebekah, and she had twins (Gen. 25:21).
Rachel prayed for a child and God gave her Joseph (Gen. 30:22).
Jacob prayed and was saved from his brother's murderous hate (Gen. 32:11).
Moses prayed for Aaron and his life was spared (Deut. 9:20). He also prayed for Miriam and she was healed of her leprosy in one week (Num. 12:10-15).
Hanna prayed for a son and her disgrace and reproach were removed not to mention that God gave her a very special son and godly son [Samuel] (1 Sam. 1:10-20).
Manoah, the father of Samson, prayed that the angel of the Lord would return to show them how to bring up Samson and he did return (Judges 13:8,9).
Samson prayed and God enabled him to push over the central pillars in the temple (Judges 16:28-30).
Samuel prayed and it thundered and rained to prove to the people that they asked for an evil thing when they asked for a king (1 Sam. 12:17,18).
An unnamed prophet prayed and Jeroboam's withered hand was restored (1 Kings 13:6).
Elijah prayed and fire fell from Heaven and consumed the sacrifice, the wood, the stones, the soil and the water in the trench (1 Kings 18:30-40).
Elisha prayed and his servant's eyes were opened to see into the spirit realm (2 Kings 6:17).
Solomon prayed and fire fell from Heaven, consuming the burnt offering and the sacrifices and the glory of the LORD filled the temple (2 Chron. 7:1).
Jehoshaphat prayed and his pursuers in battle drew away from him (2 Chron. 18:31,32).
Job prayed for his friends and God didn't deal with them according to their folly (Job 42:8).
David prayed and was protected from Saul (Psa. 57:1).
Hezekiah prayed and 15 years were added to his life (Isa. 38:1-5).
Daniel prayed and the angel Gabriel was sent to bring him insight and understanding (Dan. 9:20-23).
Jonah prayed from inside the belly of the huge fish and his life was spared (Jonah 2:1-10).
Zachariah prayed and John the Baptist was born (Lk. 1:13-20).
Peter prayed and Dorcas returned to life (Acts 9:40).
Paul prayed and Publius' father was healed (Acts 28:8).

Remember: PRAY or you and others will be PREYED upon! Prayer, in faith, to God (and only God) is shown through scripture. That means you should NEVER pray to Mary, the saints or angels, as Catholics do. God alone is almighty and we can go boldly to the throne of grace for help and mercy (Hebrews 4:16). God wants us to pray and rely upon him. Remember: the power of prayer still works today.
