100% Scriptural Christian Basics The following list consists of simple spiritual Christian basics to embrace, treasure and spread to others. You will be blessed if these Christian basics control your earthly life now. They are all simple, but at the same time profoundly powerful. Remember the following:
Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. (Josh 1:8)
If you acknowledge Jesus before men, Jesus will acknowledge you before the Father (Mt. 10:32)
If you disown Jesus before men, he will disown you before the Father (Mt. 10:33)
No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also. (1 John 2:23)
If you have the Son, you have life. If you do not have the Son of God, you do not have life. (1 John 5:12)
If you love Jesus, you will obey his commands (Jn. 14:15). If you do not love Jesus you will not obey his commands (John 14:24).
If you obey Jesus’ commands, you have come to know him. (1 John 2:3). If you do not obey Jesus’ commands and claim, “I know him,” you are a liar, and the truth is not in you. (1 John 2:4)
If you love God, you are known by God. (1 Cor 8:3). If you don’t love God you are not known by God.
If you exalt yourself you will be humbled, and if you humble yourself you will be exalted. (Luke 18:14)
Being a slave to sin will lead to [spiritual] death. Being a slave to obedience will lead to righteousness (Rom 6:16)
If you do what is right, you are righteous. If you do what is sinful, you are of the devil (1 John 3:7,8)This Is The Real Christian Life
The LORD is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you. (2 Chronicles 15:2)
If you are ashamed of Jesus and his words, Jesus will be ashamed of you when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. (Luke 9:26)
If you come near to God, he will come near to you. (James 4:8)
If you remain in Jesus, he’ll remain in you (John 15:4). If anyone does not remain in Jesus, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. (John 15:6)
If you defile your bodily temple, God will destroy you (1 Cor. 3:17).
If you forgive others who sin against you, God will forgive you (Mt. 6:14). If you do not forgive others who sin against you, God will NOT forgive you. (Mt. 6:15)
If you hear Jesus’ words and put them into practice you are like a wise man who built his house on the rock. (Mat 7:24) If you hear Jesus’ words and do not put them into practice you are like a foolish man who built his house on sand. (Mat 7:26)
Those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned. (John 5:29)
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. (Mat 7:19) Every tree that does bear good fruit is not cut down and thrown into the fire.
If you belong to the world, the world will love you as its own. If you do not belong to the world, the world will hate you. (John 15:19)
If you endure being hated for being a Christian to the end you will be saved (Mt. 10:22). If not, you will not be saved. These Are True Christian Beliefs
If you love the world, the love of the Father is not in you. (1 John 2:15). Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. (James 4:4) If you come out from them and be separate, God will receive you. (2 Cor 6:17)
If you are faithful, even to the point of death, Jesus will give you the crown of life. (Rev 2:10). If you overcome you will not be hurt by the second death. (Rev 2:11)
