Are You A Believer Whose Heart Is Not Right With God?

Dear friends, the Lord sent me on a journey to discover the warnings of the New Testament. What I discovered, as a general rule, is we do not believe what is written. We believe what the teachers have taught us the scriptures mean. I have no new word to tickle your ears as the countless false teachers of our day do. You are extremely unlikely to get rich by submitting to the scriptures I present. As a matter of fact, you are likely to be betrayed,  mocked, despised and go through many trials.as the Savior and his apostles experienced.

We are in the Apostasy. This is clearly seen in the false teachers like Joel Osteen who offers you Satan's "Best Life Now" and Rick Warren who wants to join you with Islam and the other false religions. He was at meeting where he had people going to Yoga class, which leads to the Kundalini spirit possession. Both of these men have joint teaching sessions with Oprah. How can light and darkness walk together? They do not. What we see is darkness and darkness are walking together. It is a day when you can trust no man. These false teachers do not preach repentance, obedience and the blood of Jesus. You will not hear them preach the passages below.

Are you right with God? Were you told that when you believe in Jesus that is it,and you are going to heaven? Can you actually be a believer who is a "prisoner of wickedness" and be headed to hell? The scriptures clearly say yes as shown in Acts chapter 8, among other passages.

In Philippians 2 ISV, Paul even warns those who are currently obeying Christ that they can depart from the faith.
  •  12And so, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, not only when I was with you but even more now that I am absent, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. 13For it is God who is producing in you both the desire and the ability to do what pleases him. 14Do everything without complaining or arguing 15so that you may be blameless and innocent, God’s children without any faults among a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine like stars in the world 16as you hold firmly to the word of life. Then I will be proud when the Messiahi returnsj that I did not run in vain or work hard in vain.

Acts 8 ISV

4Now those who were scattered went from place to place preaching the word. 5Philip went down to theb city of Samaria and began to preach the Messiahc to the people.d 6The crowds, hearing his messagee and seeing the signs that he was doing, paid close attention to what was said by Philip. 7Unclean spirits screamed with a loud voice as they came out of the many people they had possessed, and many paralyzed and lame people were healed. 8As a result, there was great rejoicing in that city.

9Now in that city there was a man named Simon. He was practicing occult arts and thrilling the people of Samaria, claiming to be someone great. 10Everyone from the least to the greatest paid close attention to him, saying, “This is what we callf the great power of God!” 11They paid careful attention to him because he had thrilled them for a long time with his occult performances. 12But when Philip proclaimed the good news about the kingdom of God and about the name of Jesus the Messiah,g men and women believed and were baptized. 13Even Simon believed, and after he was baptized he became devoted to Philip. He was amazed to see the signs and great miracles that were happening.

14Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaritans had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them. 15They went down and prayed for them to receive the Holy Spirit.16Before this, he had not come on any of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 17Then Peter and Johnh laid their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
18Now when Simon saw that the Spirit was given through the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money 19and said, Give me this power too, so that when I lay my hands on someone, he will receive the Holy Spirit.”

20But Peter told him, “May your money perish with you, because you thought you could obtain God’s free gift with money! 21You have no part or share in what we’re saying, because your heart isn’t right with God. 22So repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that, if possible, your heart’s intent may be forgiven you. 23For I see that you’re being poisoned by bitterness and you’re a prisoner of wickedness!

24Simon answered, “Both of you prayi to the Lord for me that none of the things you have said will happen to me.”

The sad thing is that Simon asked the apostles to pray for him, but we do not read that he repented.

James 2 ISV tells us: "19You believe that there is one God. That’s fine! Even the demons believe that and tremble with fear."
